Nice work Tim! And as far as mild tube goes John Kasse has a video that talks about rust getting pumped back up into the engine when turning over a few revolutions before it starts. He's even found rust on the back of throttle blades.
I'm proud of you brother. You all need to follow what he's showing you. He was taking things apart, and putting them back together before some of you were even a glimmer in your parents eyes. He knows his stuff.
Do you add structure at the quarter panel to support the tin that hangs outside the frame rails? Something to rivet the panels to so they don't sag by the quarters?
@@TheShartTF2 if you’ll notice the tubs are attached in the front to the panels behind the seat, at the top to the firewall and the rear to the transition panels that attach to the tail panels.
Wish I could start from scratch on my 55chev gasser. Never had a mentor when I built it 40 years ago. I have tried to make corrections however. Great videos for any type of build.
Great video Tim. Killer way to do those wheel radius looks very clean. I did mine on my 55 Chevy little different than you did but came out looking just like yours. I put 5/16 round tube on mine so l would never cut a tire. You just might like this l have a 9.3 Olds rearend with a posi just like those old boys did back in the day. My 55 is just a good old straight axle street Gasser. I tried to build it old school the best I could with what I have. The old Gassers are the best old Hotrods there ever was. Love your work man keep on keeping on I'll be watching and leaning more lol. Long live the Gassers 😁 Take care 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Tim my name is Tom . I need 2 parts made I built a1964 Dodge dart gasser with a A100 Dodge van straight axle abd the cross steer is in front of the axle so the Ackerman is not very good. Im trying to find someone to make me steering arms like you do to for your gasser builds can you be do the job or point me in the wright direction Thanks for any help you can give me.
Tim, I need some help setting up my rear gasser ladder bar and 9inch. I have a few questions I can’t get answered anywhere else. How can I reach you? Happy to compensate you for time.
