That speaker that’s built in is absolute bullzhit!!! No sound at all it’s only a 5 watt speaker inside, I have $30 Bluetooth speakers that sound better then this and if you wanna hook it up to a sound bar forget it, YOU CANT !! It has a great picture but no sound at all a total waste
I saw it live in Birmingham years ago and it still gives me chills. What a beautiful show! Someday I hope to take my little nieces to see it if it's still going in a few years when they're old enough.
I remember seeing this in person for the first time and practically vibrating out of my seat with excitement as soon as I heard the first note. Seeing the huge elephant coming down the aisle was a mind-blowing experience, and the whole thing was truly magical. The acting, the set, the music, THE COSTUMES, it's all so incredible. Everyone should go see this in person at least once in their lives. I can't even find the words to describe how amazing it is.
I saw this on Broadway when I was 11 years old I am 30 now and I still remember this never forgot it. It was so unforgettable. It was so good. I really want to go back. This was so so so good.
Seeing this number alone live is worth the ticket price. This video doesn’t do it justice since you can’t see the singers in the audience boxes and the puppets coming down the aisles right by you. It’s a beautiful, beautiful show and I’m so glad I just got to see it live.
Personally, I think this show has far more meaning than the remake film. Not just because it's adapted with respect to the original film and with the same creative spirit and love, but because of the amazing cultural richness of the costumes and props. And how those costumes and the body puppets re so amazingly adapted to show the actors while maintaining the animal characteristics, the most amazing thing to me.
There is something about seeing this in person that is extremely overwhelming in the most beautiful way. Tears well in my eyes every time. Before covid, the yaks during the stampede would fill the isles and "run" with the audience. Im not sure what changed this, honestly. It was one of my favorite parts of the show. You felt like you were running right beside simba. It made the experience so real. But every time they uplift him over pride rock, i bawl like a child. Still do. If you havent seen this play yet, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?!
I saw the show off Broadway in 2019 and I think it was Norfolk Virginia and it’s honestly one of the best experiences I’ve ever had in my life and I can’t wait to see it again
honestly this costs much more than a portable air con, which can cool the entire room. the savings in utility bills "earnt" from the lower electricity consumption would take a while to make it worth the higher cost lmao, not to mention all the deployment hassle to optimise its usage as well as the fact that it can only cool small area, while also heating other parts of the room with its exhaust
