I work here, the roof is kept close once it over 95 degrees. When it cooler lile spring and fall the roof is opened as well as the big panels on the north wall. You left out the franchise musuem with the world series trophy on display.
Fishstix, the worst owner in professional sports, never re-signs the good players on the team. Anyone good is traded for prospects instead of paying market value to keep them. Winning is not important. Getting a MLB revenue sharing check and keeping payroll as low as possible is important. Fishstix doesn’t have the financing to build a new stadium in Vegas. He’s at least $500 million short and has been searching for mystery investors for over a year and there is zero interest. This is the same crap he pulled in Oakland before he ran away from a Howard Terminal stadium deal. Fishstix does not want to pay to build a stadium anywhere which is why he’s dragging this clown show out in Sac at a minor league park where the team can play for free rent. That’s all you need to know about this ass. He’s a fraud and a joke.
They don't need to replace this stadium. They need to start broadcasting the games locally and quit trying to squeeze every penny from subscribers to cable. That way people can follow the team and care about them.
Absolutely, I'm in complete accord. Their greed has noticeably increased of late. Moreover, they've ceased accepting cash within the stadium. All payments, including those to the hotdog sellers roaming the stands, must now be made exclusively via credit card. It seems as though they're intent on monitoring every single cent we spend.
I have done a video of Wrigley field on the channel. You can find it under the MLB playlist on my channel. It was one of the first videos I did and called it a stadium instead of a ballpark which upset some people.
When I was about 10 in 1974, a neighbor invited me to go to an A’s game. I was amazed by it all!!! Never been to a baseball game so it just blew me away. I believe it was the A’s vs Brewers. Then we saw the A’s / Tigers and a double header vs the Yankees with Reggie Jackson playing RF for New York! Some teens were shouting cuss words at him. I’m very upset that Oakland doesn’t care enough about those A’s!! Absolutely devastating that they have to go!!!! 🤬😭
tear up the natural grass, lay down artificial grass......oh yeah!, wait til the hot summer games there!!, by the way Sac'Fan's, you aint getting Rivercat prices when the A's play there
My family misses going to Ranger games in this park. It's absolutely beautiful. We've gone to two games in the new stadium, and I don't think we'll be back. With family members on the spectrum, the new stadium is just too loud. I think because it's enclosed the sound is trapped and causes a bad echo. We didn't have this problem in the previous ballpark.
I understand where you’re coming from but at the same time the new one being enclosed / retractable does make sense as I’ve heard the old stadium had brutal heat in the summer as it was open air. I don’t know why it even was that.
Im coming here in August this year. Visiting from Australia. Will be watching D'backs v Phillies with my daughter. Looking for advice on the best place to sit, and areas to avoid.
That is exciting. What part of Australia are you coming from? Most people complain about the upper deck being way to large so you may want to enjoy that. Not a seat, but check out the hot tub in right center field when you are there. Where do you typically like to sit at baseball games?
@@StadiumsoftheWorld10 Coming from Sydney. Not sure if we'll be at the Thursday or Friday game on Aug 8 or 9. Have never been to an MLB game but have been a fan for years. What's more fun - sitting beyond the left field fence, or paying a bit more and sitting closer to 1st or 3rd base?
Excellent video! Target field is a very beautiful venue for the Twins and their fans. I love the layout and the view of downtown. I am happy that the Twins went with an open venue. The Metrodome was awful for baseball. Have you done Petco Park in San Diego?
Thank you for checking out the video! I am glad you enjoyed it. Target field is amazing. I have done a video on Petco Park. I have a playlist of MLB ballpark on my channel and you can find it there.
@@StadiumsoftheWorld10 I grew up a few miles from Angels Stadium and have gone there since it opened. When I was a kid all my parents friends had seasoned tickets and the Angels were let just say not a very good team. We would be offered tickets all the time and as a kid I actually thought they were a minor league team that the MLB teams came into town to beat up on kind of like the Washington Generals and the Harlem Globetrotters. In the late 60’s and early 70’s my favorite team was the Orioles and my Little League glove was a Mark Belanger Rawlings. Then Nolan Ryan arrived and we became competitive and me and my dad and now my adult children are lifelong Angels fans. I went to games #2 and #6 of the 2002 WS and game #6 was the greatest baseball game I ever attended. Also seeing Jerrod Weaver’s No No with my young son was a huge highlight.
Boise only jas Boise State. SD has the Padres amd had the chargers for years SDSU is always second tier. Here in Fresno, Fresno State is much louder than SDSU games.
Giants fan here amd i think its funny a team with that much history amd money still plays in a stadium they just keep putting bandaids on when their rival has the nicest stadium in baseball. I can appreciate the history though
