Not actually a 'Pro' but that's just between us. First impressions, let's play's and reviews of your favourite games. AAA to indie and everything in between. Open World, Survival, RPGs, MMOs, First Person Shooters, Horror and Strategy Titles - these tend to be the stuff that you'll see here!
this is the in-game music buddy - not anything that I've added - I don't add any additional music to my videos, this is an impressions vid of the game if you were to play it today. That's the whole point...
Looks really neat; have to second the visual style of the two towers in the start as similar to Simon Stalenhag - maybe a homage, or just great minds think alike. Good call on making a young person the protagonist, allows for a lot of exposition that makes more sense in story, and from the demo it really looks like they developer is leaning into the themes. Wishlisted! EDIT: The soviet-punk style does come out a bit different from Stalenhag, so it's not like the game doesn't have its own identity, but there's some overlap since both art styles are sort of in the same time period.
Yes, it's certainly standing out from a visual standpoint and just really nice, immersive atmosphere! I've loved going down the Simon Stalenhag rabbit hole - hadn't heard of him before you and another comment mentioned him!
Having checked out Simon Stalenhag after your comment, 100% agree - wouldn't be surprised if there is some inspiration there or similar minds at the very least.
I think they pulled the trigger a bit early - found server stability/lag to be a big problem the more I've played but it is early access - something good here maybe but Payday 3, Gray Zone Warfare and many others have shown that an early 'early access' can cause more harm than good...
Had fun with this but it was a shame to get a server disconnect - hoping this improves over time - certainly feels early access in places but seems like a solid foundation to start from - looking forward to playing more of this and seeing how it develops.
Liking the mix of genre here and love a good roguelite. Want to try this with some friends when I get a chance to see how the multiplayer role-based side of things holds up!
And to answer your question, hostile ghosts don't seem to enter the house (yet), but wolves *can and will* chase you to your bedroom if they get the chance. At which point you need to cheese them by sleeping.
Pretty fun if you're into your zombie wave based games - not sure if the Steam trading system thing will take off but depends how they support it and as long as it's only for cosmetics.
The only way these scammers could redeem themselves is if they instead just went back to The Day Before, and without asking for ANY kickstarter money, donations, etc. just focused on making it into the game they promised, No Man's Sky style. But no, here they are with another crummy asset flip, and this time they have the gall to ask for kickstarter money.
There are a lot of rinse and repeat games out there, but given their total scam with The Day Before, it should absolutely go in the HARD PASS category especially on Kickstarter.
Zippertits age? 💀 what even is this comment ha yeah, early critic reviews is that it'll be a contender - need to see how it is when it comes out of course but I expect other games will win GOTY anyway
I find it very enjoyable now compared to launch but it can get boring after a while so I been on and off. I do hope they have events like the one happening now (crimson front) you get skins for grinding. It makes me wanna play more knowing I don't need to spend money in the game just gor legendary skins
At least they've scaled back the ambition to something smaller, but yeah, I will not be giving them any money until I see full release and glowing reviews 😅 Are they deserving of a second chance? What do you think?
They can royaly go f themselves. They are going to (try to) be more honest??? I want them gone. That they are able to pump out another game just shows where the original money really went to. Btw, this sh*t looks like Fall Guys just with another twist on it.
That was my first impressions but gameplay is actually here - enough to have me intrigued for the full release and will have to see if they can deliver.
I'm catching up on your videos now. I've missed so much. Thanks for the shout out. Yes, the trading post is great and helpful. Man, you have been super busy. There's so many great videos I'm catching up on tonight. 😊
this reminds of an amazing game called guns of icarus. not a survival game unless considering survival as steamship battles and is more of a battle royale.
Fun little game so far, if a little janky here and there with a bit of predictably starting to creep in with some of the jump scares. Love to see these kind of ideas in games though and new concepts/loops - certainly has the creepy vibes for sure!
Feel like this is an okay time if you're solo, but wayyyy more fun if there's a couple or a group of you playing this together. Like a 3d version of Overcooked/PlateUp in some aspects!
