Szia ,hogy teljeseit a kicsike ? cru wear penge birja? sokan irjak érdemes ebbe az acélba venni a vékony hegy miatt ..vagy erdemesebb lenne military 2 ugyanebbe a verzióba választani?
How do you like it so far man? Definitely not the most bushcrafty blade out there, looks like an amazing wood splitter but not much else I like how bark rivers look but I have seen the chipped edges from battoning branches and that made me stirr away from those
I have the 9 inch choil version and the 7.5 inch without a choil, yesterday i orderd the Puzon Bowie 9 without choil too. Blackend blade a G10 scales. That will be WTG knife nr 8 for me. I can recomend you buying the WTG Pathfinder Bowie, it is the most slicey and hard chopping knife ever, but for you the tip is maybe too thin, but it will stab like crasy. But you can still make a toothpick with it,it has a super wide blade and over 12 inch too, I dont like choils you see. It is the only WTG knife i have that came with the plastic D rings and the knife without the sheat has a weight close too 1 kilo. Have you tryed the Becker BK9 ? it is lighter, but cut and chop like no other knife in it's weight class. The ESEE Junglas is also a great knife, it is a fast knife with 11.5 inch blade and plenty pointy with a fantasic kydex sheat with 4 locks for the knife. Thick and great kydex sheath. Dont make a choil there, the steel will only be thin and not comfy, just have a smal knife, neck knife, slip joint or a folding knife with a lock or something. They are way better for smal work anyhow and has allomst no weight at all.
Mini Adamas is the best Benchmade imo. Price, materials, durability, it's all there and readily available. Great if you like a hard user. That said, I've moved on to the Demko AD20 because that's the hardest user.
Always use the proper tool for the job, clip point to cut braded tubing, wires nope. But a wharncliffe, saber shape, leaf shape, spear point works much better.
Good luck with the brkt if you get a rolled edge though... bark rivers are not ment for harx use because they cut Ike razor, 3v is kind of like a panacea for them but still it rusts easily and it can roll still.. both great knives here!
They can definitely handle harsh use. Give it a micro bevel and don’t use a belt grinder you’ll be fine. 3V is the steel for that kind of use. You’d much rather a roll than a chip…..
Get an iac restrictor plate and change the coils out you should be in a better spot. If you didnt lay the gaskets correctly with a little silicone on the ports re do that
@@Beaverbush1969 I have the 3 v one and I'm thinking they don't do a very good heat treatment I can see little grain like specks on my edge and I am pretty sure that's not good
I have one as well, I love it (blue demin scales and toxic green liners). I'd say its a do everything field knife. Not the best chopper not the best bushcrafter but it can do it all.
Did you get the scout carry straps from them too? I’m guessing with those straps you can probably find them just online but didn’t know the size you got. Thanks!
@@mattwilson5807 i got them from a place on facebook called Papa Bear Kydex. I then gave him a measurement, get cut and installed them and mailed them to me for a price!
Interesting... I want a Hinderer but I really don't know what.. I liked the X Project but seeing the size differences, they're both great. The action is smooth too.. looks worth their pricepoint.
Just got mine yesterday. Exact same knife. First CRK for me. Very Impressive. My Spyderco Sage 1 in Maxamet or Benchmade Bugout 535 s90v carbon fiber does not even come close. Worth the extra money for sure. Cheers
I have both of these knives, they had very different bevels when I purchased them. I simply put on my own 20 degree angles and this seems to be the sweet spot for both these knives. This is my personal preference, so yours may be different!
