"We called her the Profane Angel because she looked like an angel but she swore like a sailor. She was the only woman I ever knew who could tell a dirty story without losing her femininity." ~film director Mitchell Leisen on Carole Lombard

"All you need to start an asylum is an empty room and the right kind of people." ~from My Man Godfrey (1936)
I am 45 years old, this Man has my WHOLE HEART! My living room has framed pictures of him! I watch his movies, everyday, there is NO ONE like him! He is The King Of Hollywood and always will be!!!! ❤❤❤
Recently began to discover Paulette, and it all started with the movie Modern Times✨ then downloaded "The Cat and the Canary", "Reap the Wild Wind", "The Ghost Breakers". I didn’t even know she was auditioning for the lead in Blown Away By The Wind, uh, this movie could be my favorite😔 I don’t know if the movie was as successful, but the fact that I would watch it forever, that’s for sure 🙌
This is such a beautiful video that chronicles his real life with Lombard and after her death, both as combat pilot fighter and back to the screen. He died too young, but he had such a full life. He continues to captivate audiences today and will forever be the king of Hollywood. He and his charm and grace are so missed today. Btw, you're really telling a story about Gable's life here that is so heartbreaking, how his roles later in his life somehow mirror the way he moves on in his real life. Splendid work here.
Thank you for relising,all this Beautiful memories ,Clark ❤️ 💖 💜 ♥️ 💕 💗 ❤️ 💖 💜 ♥️ 💕 💗 Hasgiven us,... Clark Gable, the King of Hollywood, will never be forgotten ,never.❤🎉
He was a beautiful human being. Don't believe the rags that try to tarnish his memory, label him a "womanizer" when said women adored him for his many amazing qualities. They literally threw themselves at him, mailed him their panties, mobbed him in the streets, tried to strip him naked at times. He victimized NO ONE, but there were plenty who wanted a piece of him and took their share when they could. He's called a "money grubber" when he gave up over half a million in his divorce settlement, his entire Gone with the Wind paycheck, to marry Carole Lombard. He was thrifty for the poverty he'd suffered and overly clean for the dirty jobs he'd worked over two decades before finally finding success. Again, don't believe the lies. Long live the King.
"Our lives may not have fit together, but ohhh did our souls know how to dance… " ~ K. Towne Jr. "In your light I learn how to love. In your beauty, how to make poems. You dance inside my chest where no-one sees you, but sometimes I do, and that sight becomes this art." ~ Rumi
