I was 7 when the 50th anniversary of the end of ww2 occurred and got taken to all sorts of concerts to mark it, my grandma who had this on tape had passed on both a love of songs from the war and a love of Max Bygraves, I got really confused when named him as my favourite singer and no-one else knew who he was

Loved Max as I was growing up. His records could always get the party started! He had his own shows. We used to play his videos at family gatherings. Ah nostalgia for a time long lost!
