This is the best video I have seen on practical magic in months. I love your methodology and I’m pleased to hear the breath charging method does have some kind of mythological backing. I have used breath charging for my own rune work for a long time but it was more of a guess of what I could use instead of blood. Thank you very much for sharing.
I relate so much unfortunately! The person who did this to me was definitely in psychosis, too. And he pretty much dragged me into his reality. I was also very in a vulnerable desperate time and he made me feel so special at first. When someone holds a lot of power within a community or is seen as a pillar, it almost feels like an honor to be with them. They seem so confident in who they are and it is a slow unraveling. He was extremely pathological and abusive and vindictive. He's done horrible things to people. I was no longer able to ask questions or have my own opinions. It was an extremely confusing time and he had so many blind followers, so when they were validating and looking up to him and not speaking up when he was abusive, I felt like I was the problem or insane one. I thought I wasn't experiencing my reality correctly when I felt I was in harms way and that ironically is exactly what made me slip into the abyss. I'm so glad you got out and are feeling clear now. I still have times where I split on myself inside and get confused again. Very scary.
When I found Witchcraft/ Wicca when I was 21 (back in 1996) the books never talked about actually forming relationships with Deities or Spirits before you called upon them to help you with something. Everyone treated them like a "vending machine". It only worked for me a couple of times and I never had a set pantheon, or "Patron God or Goddess" because I never found anyone who felt right to me. I kept it general and would just pray or talk to the Goddess. It wasn't until almost 2 years ago when I found the Irish Pagan School, Lora O'Brien, Jon O'Sullivan, Orlagh Costello, and other Irish Pagans who actually lived in Ireland, that I felt a click. They spoke of the importance of building a relationship with your Gods, Guides, Guardians, and Ancestors BEFORE asking them for anything. They also spoke about living in right relationship with Ireland and her Gods. I am an American and really don't belong anywhere, but I have Ancestors from Ireland and Scandinavia. Which is why I found you this month. Thank you for sharing your opinion on this topic. I believe my Ancestors steered me your way to learn more about that side of my family. I feel you on the grimoire stuff. I have some, but most of my ritual work is fly by the seat of your pants and the invocations are extemporaneous. I think my most recent example is after I had already done a return to sender candle and had it going along with the protection ones, I kept having annoying little things happen and I walked by my return to sender candles shouted knock it the eff off and some spicy explicative and then gave it the finger and walked off. Not the most eloquent oration or ritual, but that energy directed straight at it definitely worked.
It was Yngvi/Freyr who turned my strong interest in Norse Mythology into real spiritual experience. He's really much more than his very prominent fertility aspect. With his help I rediscovered myself in a time I had almost forgotten who I am. The egg symbolism of the Inguz rune is also linked to thoughts or plans - let them rest until they are ripe, so you can harvest them when the time is right.
I became more connected to Thor when I had to let my Grandpa go to his ancestors, a straight-forward hard working simple man. Signs of Thors presence did become more frequent around this time. Only days after this a precious person came into my life who I would call a Mentor for me, again a humble hard-working man. I fully agree with your experience of Thor being very protective and friendly.
Im new to your channel and i recently researched my family seems we came to the US from Germany in the 1600s so im trying to look into my heritage. Loki is married to his wife Sigyn, technically has 3 wives, there's Sigyn, Glut, and Angrboda (polygamy clearly isn't frowned upon in Valhalla 😁), and has 5 sons, Narfi or "Nari," Vali, Jormungandr, Fenrir, Sleipnir, and including the daughter of Loki, Hel (woof. He's been busy and not just with the mischief! 🤣) Anyhow, how could Loki be gay? At best you'd be saying he's bisexual? But there's zero information on Loki being sexually attracted to guys....so....nope. Not everything has to be about gay politics.
The affirmation thing is just psychology. I like to say that magic is just science we don't understand. Cell Phones would be considered magic 100 years ago

its also important to remember that the eddas werent written by pagans. they were written by christians for the sole purpose of preserving their countrys history. using the eddas and sagas as proof isnt really a great idea
Might i add that you should create a white/blue/light altar! any witch should be dedicated to both light and dark magic. Light to inspire, manifest, love, save, heroism, and self-high-vibrationallity-spirituality; and dark to bring karma to evil doers, conjourings, summonings, curses (if you do them), etc.! do you agree? why avoid white magic? lets spread positivity. white magic quantomly shifts our surroundings and fellow people to a high vibrational state, which is what we need to save our whole world!
I love how high vibrational you are! I can tell that you attract things you want right to you. You should become even more spiritual than you are! Remember about your chakras, your inner light, manifestation, positivity, and affirmations! You're doing such a good job and im proud of you. I love you and your positive personality! When people raise their spiritual vibrations and affirm and manifest, they quantumly attract things to themselves such as supernatural guidance, health, energy, motivation, creative sparks, luck, money, and abundance. some people are afflicted by low vibrational bodies and negative auras. It's because they dont know about it! low vibrationality (a downward spiral of one's own soul) causes sluggishness, dirty thoughts, accidental behavior, mistakes, missed opportunities, etc.! i want to help these people. positive white-craft magic is something that may quantumly create positive auras and vibrations that supernaturally bless people, the same way home consecrations work. Question to anyone willing to answer this: If there is such an absolute being, deity, truth and answer to all things in this world and universe, and there's a God that looks out for you, has promises for you, for whom you are also allowed to meditate to and connect with, as well as answering prophecies that come true, would you be willing to give up everything to follow him and say, this makes sense?

It’s interesting hearing how similar traditions from different sides of the world can be. I’m a witch from the U.S. and it’s remarkable how similar your experience is to mine. I come from a family of witches (Christian Witches) who believe we are reborn in our family line. That the gift of second sight and the evil eye are passed down. Dreams are extremely important and often prophetic. Really the only thing that is different from what you talked about is just the cultural context. ❤
