I have to say, I wrote a really long comment and it didn't upload 2 days ago. And I just had to say that the song choice with them, never occurred to me as a possible reality. This song has such a deeply special place in my heart for years. So to see this song with pen & colin was something really surprising and beautiful in the best way. Their story and this song, I just can't. I felt attacked emotionally and overwhelmed in the best way possible. No matter what I write, it'll never express how much this means.. I really cried. That was out of this world. Incredible really what you've done.
oh this edit is SUCH a gift! even with all of the romcom elements of their story this season & with how happy of a place they are in by the end of ep 4, there is still SO much angst in their story and I love how you were able to capture that with this edit. so many little details in this had me screaming but especially-- - the 'black flies on the windowsill' lyric with debling's drawing room window call out / pen and colin looking out their windows for each other AND paralleled with marina calling out pen's feelings and pen's "I know not of what you speak" lines !!!!!!!! - the 'still I'll be a traveler' lyric match yup yup yupppp - 2:15 - 2:33 pen constantly helping colin see the best version of himself vs him trying to do the same for her in s3 I'm going absolutely FERAL over this - THE BUILDUP OF TENSION FROM 2:57 - 3:20 OF COLIN FINALLY WAKING TF UP AND REALIZING HIS FEELINGS OHHHHHH it hits!!!! 'can't you see, oh?' indeed!!! he sees now!!!! - 3:29 - 3:34 'it is my business because I care about you' / 'that you cared for me' wow wow wow truly 6 minutes of utter perfection <3
