@@scottmcquarrie7295 The british cranes in this video (the Priestman and NCK) have british Dorman diesel engines( 3 and 5 cylinder) . There are also cranes in this video with Deutz air cooled engines. In this video are all of them 4-stroke diesels.
The sound of my 20s we had 3 on grab work one as a yard crane cos it had independent derking and tc37 witch stood for tiger crane 37 ton had a gantry on the back ❤
@@adriannettlefold9084 This one is not owned by the museum. It is from a private collector who owns several draglines. He does not want to sell any of his machines.
That is some really smooth operating especially on the swingers! It’s like watching a symphony each part of that machine is working together to produce results just like each instrument in a symphony working together to create the desired sound 😀🇨🇦
It's very well restored. The harsh clicking noise is a bit odd. Something needs a little adjusting, I've never heard a mechanical lubricator do that if that is in fact what was making the noise.
Hi, i'm currently not the operator on this machine anymore so i can't make a video of it but i can tell you how the controls work. You have your left joystick which is side to side your left end right swing and pushing it forward is boom down and pulling towards you is boom up. On your right hand you have two short T-shaped sticks which you opererate with one hand. Left stick is hoist and right stick is drag. You have two foot brakes for the freefall drums. We have the drag brake on the left side and hoist brake on the right side but there are operators who work with the brakes the other way around. You can change it by hooking up two hydraulic hoses the other way around. I hope this will give you some answers. Thanks for watching!
Alza un po' il braccio della pala mentre infili e richiami la benna....così fai lavorare un po' tutti i pistoni altrimenti sforzi sempre il richiamo della benna.bellissima pala cingolata ottimo motore mi sembra un OM dal rumore che fa.
The line speeds are actually lower than the 22 R-B : it’s just that, with only 30 feet of boom, it seems to take less time for the bucket to join you in the house !
Longreach diggers are handy, but not the most enjoyable machines to operate.. they bounce around and in heavy material, wouldn't lift until you got the stick prity much right in.
