Very good video! The clicking seems a bit generous but I'm hardly a 3a expert so I could be wrong on that lol.

I think both generous and strict scales are ok as long as the rate of clicks is right

Amazing content. I know it is a lot of work, but I hope to see more of this, specially after World's routines! Now I have to find other channels with this type of analysis in other categories, specially 2A-5A. As a guy who tries to understand better the judge system, this type of content is really rare and, IMO, helps a lot of people who might be a judge or a better player in the future. Cheers from Brazil, from a guy who is still trying to master coro coro. Curious to see how some of the 3A top players outside Japan will score.

There are some elements that I haven't decided on a proper name while translating the Sasaki part while I did when doing the Minato part. So you might see elements that has a name later in the video called "mount" or "transition" in the Sasaki part. This is just a technical mistake.

I am the author of this video. I need to make a correction: in my scoring video, I rated the blueline and velvet combo too low. It should be one point for every movement of the yo-yo. The final result should have Minato's positive clicks higher than Hajime's.

Sub: Hi this is Tesla, here's tutorial for 3A switch back trapeze to reverse coro. I saw it from world champion Hajime Miura's moyostage performance this year, and Minato Furuta's signature reverse coro coro combo has a similar element. Watch me do it. This is wayy easier than my two earlier tutorials, as you can see my sideview didn't even miss. To learn this trick, you'd better be familiar with the vanilla coro coro, especially how you position your arms. You can also practice reverse coro coro individually, like this. Btw, reverse coro coro is easier to mount compared to normal direct-trapeze coro, so this is also good for newbies. The trapeze at the beginning can be done similar to Minato's version, hit the dom-string with non-dom yoyo, so you can facilitate the momentum to get a more fluent trapeze. Here's the tutorial. You hook the non-dom string with your dom yoyo from FRONT, and do a trapeze. Then let the non-dom string on your FINGER to align with the yoyo, and hop the non-dom yoyo onto that piece of string above, and this will give you the reverse coro mount. Then you take the yoyo back and do the reverse coro, lift your non-dom hand and drop your dom hand. ATTENTION: if you don't do the lift-drop properly, the yoyo will bind, so be prepared to not let it smash your face. Here's close-up from the front.

Sub: Hi this is Tesla, here's tutorial for 3A cross-arm ninja vanish, aka reverse vanish, aka covanish. This is a variant of the handsomest 3A player Minato Furuta's famous 3A ninja vanish, appeared at the end of JOYC 2016 3A final. He first did an over-shoulder ninja vanish, then attempted reverse vanish but didn't make it. After some personal study, I figured out, and here's tutorial. Here's what it looks like. Beforehand I'd like to share some opinions. I think it's slightly harder than normal ninja vanish and the way you do it is completely different, so mastering the normal ninja vanish won't help you much. Good equity! This is a difficult trick yet it has short steps. You put dom string on your non-dom hand, stabilize them, then let the dom yoyo fall down, and do a BIG whip and you're done. The important thing is the string configuration on your non-dom hand and how you position your non-dom hand, this is important to both vanishes, I'll explain with POV later. Btw the pop is also VERY hard, if you don't do it good enough you get tangled very badly. Make sure they both pop out from the front. This part is filmed by my bro holding the camera, so a bit shaky and please understand. The non-dom string is over your non-dom index finger, like plastic whip; and for non hand, the yoyo is closer to your body and the hand is on the other side, but closer to the right side, because the vanish requires the non-dom string to go ACROSS the dom string to catch the yoyo below, this gives the larger triangle. The smaller triangle is an easy 1A reverse GT, I'll let you figure out. The mount is not quite right in this POV clip, but this is to demonstrate the way you set it up and I think it's fine. Let me know if you have any questions in the comments. I'd happy to help everyone learn 3A.

Sub: Hi this is Tesla, and here's tutorial for 3A laceration hook. The element is a common element by Japanese champion Tomoya Kurita, usually followed by an in-loop coro, but I can't do that part, so I'm only teaching the laceration. Today my bro isn't here so no POV, but POV for this trick is useless anyway, so whatever. Here's what the trick looks like. Before getting into the tutorial, let me present two related transitions. Shima wrap can be done as an entrance, and you can do an assisted Eli hop in this mount. I really like this Eli hop due to its flashiness and I think it has some difficulty in there, as it's wayyy easier to fall off the string, but I asked Hunter and he said it looks too easy to click, damn it. You may also drop non-dominant hand loop to get a coro mount, but that's too trivial for being part of this video. Now it's the tutorial. First you learn it with each hand respectively, and get familiar with the position of your non-dom yoyo and dom string when you do them. You may want to master this 1A laceration too. For dom hand it's like 1.0 hook, but you want to lift the yoyo higher, so it falls on the string AFTER the non-dom yoyo hooks the dom-string. The order is important because you don't want to make it a slackicide, which is wayyy harder yet looks the same. There's a common mistake in this trick in which you hook the wrong string. Eli hop is harder in this case, and unmount takes one more step, like this. Lastly, I have discovered a strange way to do this trick in which you sometimes get an assisted Brent stole, but I can't reproduce it reliably, and it consumes the spin time of non-dom yoyo very aggressively. If you have any idea on this please let me know.
