The person who wrote this jingle should be working as a top exec at Coca Cola. This was a major brainworm, in some ways the jingle never stopped. Marketing nectar.
Saw these guys support Seasick Steve and blow him off the stage. Their version of John the Revelator was amazing. Then I saw William Elliott Whitmore supporting them. Best double bill EVER
When I was younger, my mum left home to go off with another bloke. I resented her for years and the bloke she went off with. My mate came over to stay when I was at hers one night, so we rang this number and stayed connected it to 7 or 8 hours. The bill came through for 3 or 4 hundred quid, she never spoke to me for about a fortnight afterwards - oh well, serves her right 😂 my dad thought it was funny and even paid the bill, what a legend 👍

It's like there's a rave going on in 1996.. and i'm not invited. Heh i don't remember this advert at the time guess it was always on way past my bedtime.. but i first came across it when i was looking through some old tapes my aunt gave me in 2007 when i was 18.. so i now have some nostalgia towards it. It seems to have legendary status and reminds me of the more carefree time of the 90s.
It's a shame you don't get these type of adverts nowadays the last time I seen them was the late 90's or early 2000 it was a Friday night I was watching Tales From The Crypt of course ITV Nightscreen was on after it I don't like ITV Nightscreen im my region STV they have tried to provide a night time service Through the Night was the first one then Scottish Night time then I'm not sure what it was after that The only other 2 I can remember were The Nightshift(you could e-mail or text) and after midnight but they didn't last very log now all ITV regions show ITV Nightscreen

If I ever saw this advert, it meant I was up way WAY past my bedtime. I remember it waking me out of my sleep if I left the TV on to go to bed too...scary shit.

Yeah, the singles bar advert with people sitting around talking on phones in their underwear... I believe it went something like "If you're single... Or even if you're not... Call now!"
There was another ad for this line where it shows like 5 body builder guys posing at the camera. It is so corny and funny that we all mocked it in school the next day. they're all wearing spandex and one guy of the 5 is doing a stupid aerobics dance.
