Krogerjust wants you to go in as many days as possibly. The sale starsts on Wednesday, when you have the best chance at the best deals available. That fuel points on Friday and now they want you to drop in for the freebies while your out over the weekend.
I hate the buy 1 get one, get 1, and the buy 2 and get 3 free soda sales, show us how much profit they have built into food in grocery stores now. crazy profits margins now.
Apparently there was a chain wide issue with the app and coupons on Friday. My parents had some issues and the cashier had to manually discount things. I didn’t have any issues on Friday evening. On Saturday I went back to Kroger to get the splash water thst was on mega. But the $2 didn’t come off the three I bought. So the cashier came over and took off a $6 discount on.my bill. Well I also had a text rebate to get one free and got the full value of one back with the way he did it. So I got my 3 packs for 58¢!
Weird how it seems like they are pushing people to shop Friday (4x fuel points) and then only offer freebie on Saturday). It would be incredibly rare for me to shop on Saturday.
It's funny how sometimes the glitches favor half BOGO and sometimes true BOGO. Guess it balances out. The cereal bars were definitely best for half BOGO, but the toilet paper only worked for True BOGO.
Is there a way to know if the sale item will be on sale next week as well? Our Safeway affiliate store lists and dates in their app, but I don’t see them in Kroger
I never have luck with the cash back or the ones like this week where they offer $5 back on 15 of certain products. This old lady still likes to dye her hair so I jumped on the Colorsilk where it was $3.99. Perfect for me to stock up and get 4 for $15.96. Sneaky Kroger had a $1 off coupon on the Colorsilk which placed it just Pennie’s below the $15 limit. Being the frugal shopper I grab all the digital, which knocked me out of the $5 back. Oh well, I save enough following your videos to not beat myself up over stocking up on what was actually overpriced hair dye. Kept it up. Hitting thumbs up.
Oh yes, Kroger had confusing outages which messed with coupons. I had to go in and clip again, as it showed none clipped on my app. When I clipped it would show was already clipped. Confusing for an old lady 😊
In my region, I have 2x points on the weekend. Since I am a member of BOOST, I get 2x fuel point at any time. So, I have to buy $35 to get free item and will get 2x points also. Small benefit of BOOST. Thanks for your ad preview!
**be advised** 30:56 Most of the the other zipcodes are Blocking a lot of the produce and meat prices so be weary if the coupon says "only valid in such and such region" and u clip it and go back to ur hometown zipcode and click participating items...if it says no items available participating then the coupon isnt going to work.
Its like you have your own mini youtube reaction channel here in the comments dedicated to Shana.😅 Its great, Ialways drop down to check out your comments so I know ifI need to grab anything before the next sale.
I bought the new garnier shampoo $9.79, conditioner $9.79 and the filler conditioner $8.99. Also got a crest toothpaste $4.99. $33.56 the Instant savings comes off twice so i paid $23.56 oop. On ibotta, I got back $2.50 for the crest, $2 for each of the garnier plus a $4 bonus for buying 3 unique garnier for $12.50 total. made all four $11.06 or about $2.75 each. A lil expensive still but Ive been wanting to try the new garnier shampoo and i didnt care to splurge a little because I used a fetch gift card.
Hi, Shana! Marquis is like the cinemas- mar-keys. I don't know the bib one. 🤪. I mean, i could google it, I guess. I'm skipping fall and winter this year. I don't like being cold and my son will be away through the fall and part of winter at least. Our birthdays are while he's gone. 🤦🏼♀️ I wish weekly digitals were multiple use. They could probably get more sales too. The freebie is ridiculous to have to spend $50. 🙄. I agree, it might be ok if it included friday for the fuel points too. But, i never really liked the freebies before, because they were yogurt cups and gummy candy.
Kroger had system-wide outages beginning in the early afternoon on Friday affecting its websites and mobile apps. News reports say it was intermittent across all Kroger owned stores, and was fully restored by Friday evening. I was in my Kroger between 10 and 11 am that morning and had no issues., but this could explain what you experienced.
Shana do you know if KCB's for other zip codes work. Also if there is a KCB for something like a bottle of wine with a purchase of flowers or meat, have you heard if it works WITHOUT the purchase of the meat/flowers. thank you
Hi Shana! Looks like the Palmolive deal got a little sweeter over the weekend. The 20oz Oxy is $2.79, marked as buy one get one free, AND there's a $1 off digital coupon. So the breakdown is Buy 2 @ $2.79. Apply $1/1 MFR CPN OOP is $1.79 or approximately 89 cents each.
All of the 5x coupons, Kroger brand product coupons, best customer bonus, etc are store coupons. If you click on the coupon in the app or online, hit more details, manufacturer coupons will have details from the manufacturer. Hope that helps.
I think so, change to A M Yealey Elementary (look up under Yealey to find it). Then go to "My Earnings" and then click each one to attach to a grade level. My daughter is in 2nd but they are over the top in the lead so pick any level you'd like to support.
Feel the need to tell you now. Kroger website is down and so is the whole system. Take pics of your digital coupons or KCB before you check out. Cashier will have proof of all the deals and can help at check out. Or just don’t come today. Update: all seems to be running properly now. I’d still come with proof of deals today incase it crashes again.
16:05 @Shana That coupon is region specific. even though it says OHIO its for mid atlantic ohio/ky region not cincinnati area- if u click on participating items none will come up if u have it clicked and in your store's page. We need to bring attention to the fact that a lot of these produce and meat coupons now are region specific now and wont work in other regions if the coupon says it wont and we can check by clicking it and then going back to our own store's zipcode and clicking the coupon and clicking partic items and if it says none participate the coupon WONT come off at checkout. Kroger is slowly beginning to block this. Meat and producr is probably just the beginning.
10:13 I always get my taco seasoning at WM, in the bulk food aisle u can get a 24oz big bottle of Ortega for 7.24 these packets are only 1oz so thats really expensive at 1.00/1oz
The deal for the Dawn power wash can be used on two refills, but it is a better deal overall at Dollar General or even Walmart because there is an Ibotta for the same deal
Just a reminder for anyone who needs to hear it. Check the Clearance shelves section. I always try to go by and today there were several carts in the aisle full of cereal and other things. I got 8 skin care items in the only brand I can use due to allergies I suddenly developed a few years ago. Seems that they were clearing out a lot of premium type items in various brands. I averaged more than 60% off on the items I bought and did not mind it was on a 4X fuel points day. And the items had expiration dates in mid-2025.
That's wonderful, especially since it's something you have to get anyway! Our clearance section is at the end of the produce section- so I start shopping looking for produce markdowns, then go straight to the clearance before anywhere else! 😊
@@hopehasty5039 We have a small clearance produce section and a small area in meat and occasionally an item will be clearance in its regular spot in the store. but all the rest of the clearance is on the same aisle as cleaning supplies. Hope you get some great deal on your next shopping trip!
Unfortunately it looks like they are not selling the veggie flavor burst chips in store anywhere near me anymore. My son loves them and I got excited to get stocked up for a great deal. Just wanted to say the toilet paper deal, I got a great deal on Wednesday on the same toilet paper quilted northern ultra plush at Sam’s Club. They have a giant 36 roll pack normally priced at $27.98, right now it’s on instant savings for $3.50 off, so $24.48. Then I had a Fetch offer for 2000 back on each one and a Shopkick offer for 1800 each up to 2 times. So I got 2 packs, which would normally be $55.96 after rebates I paid $30.56 for 72 rolls.
My WDD for the 80 acres salads makes them $2.99 each and I do not have the KCB either. Glad someone is getting that rockin' deal for 99 cents each though!
Awesome deals, I tried to get the cereal bars on Wednesday and they were completely out of stock. Looks like they changed the deals now. I got the lunchbox bars from nature valley though. They rang up the wrong price. They had signs on the shelf showing that they would be .50 a box with the buy 6 save $2 deal, so I went back and took pictures and headed to customer service. I got back $13.93 on my card, so I bought 7 boxes and paid $3.50 for all of them then got $1 from Ibotta and should get $1 from Kroger cash back, making them only $1.50 for 7 boxes, $.21 per box or $.04 a bar.
I also dislike that about KCB, I often take the time to select all the departments except Adult Beverages just so I do not have to wade through those . Even then, some sneak through.
