Welcome to our channel! We are twin sisters who love everything cross-stitch. We will be sharing favorite designers, finishing techniques, speciality stitch tutorials and how we organize ourselves and our supplies.
@@charj57 We do stitch on a lot of projects. Even when we worked full time we tried to stitch some--it was our way of unwinding after a long day. Thanks for watching our channel!
So good to see you both! Love hearing about your adventures. Your projects are lovely. I'm on my way to a cross stitch retreat and looking forward to meeting people.
Hello ladies, I am so behind 😮 but, I have to watch every video. Nice to see Mickie. I dream of stitching as beautiful and as fast as you do. Hope you had a nice family reunion.
Missed seeing you two! I really enjoy watching your videos and the many talents you both share. I am already looking forward to your next video and I just finished watching this one! Take care! Hugs ❤❤
We had such a wonderful time with our sisters and family, but we were very excited to get back to doing our Flosstube videos too. We so appreciate our viewers and want to thank you for watching!Have a great week.
Very enjoyable. I think this may be the first time on your channel. I had a note from another channel to check you out, might have been the Lone Star Stitchers. I'm a North Texas stitcher. I'm listening to y'all while stitching on Dorothy's Discovery by Silver Creek.
So tickled to see you two, Carleen & Marleen! I just love your projects! My favorite color is purple, and is beautiful paired with the yellow bee fabric! Lovely! The reproduction sampler by Erica Michael's is so bright and colorful! I'm not usually drawn to reproduction samplers, but I love it. It actually looks like there's room to place an oval photograph. Erica has a photo on her website that looks like it would fit perfectly. It's so interesting to hear the back stories and this one was especially sweet!
I missed you ladies, but I'm so so happy that you had wonderful well-spent time with your family! You were able to still stitch soooo much, even if not the Autumn Sayings of the Season 😅. Thank you for your wonderful compliments on the finish I had posted. I'm still looking forward to seeing yours when done no matter when it happens. I can't recall the names on all the samplers, but they are sooooo pretty! The colors are vibrant, yet subdued, if that makes any sense at all. They're just gorgeous -the finish of the one sampler and the other sampler WIPs. Loved catching up with you two and way to go with the other finishes, too! Carlene, I hope Minnie and Mickey stay out of the vet clinic for awhile. Have a great time at Stitch Away! Can't wait to hear about it. *Please exclude me from the bag, although it's wonderful. Your non-Flosstuber viewers are more deserving of it*😊 Take care!
Thanks Wendy! We love hearing from you. Our samplers have been really fun to stitch, but they are big undertakings. 😉my bank account hopes the cats can stay away from the vet clinic for awhile😂
Love all your finishes but especially Love your Busch Stadium Take me out to the ballgame! Turned out awesome and love the way you personalized it ! Always enjoy your videos ! TFS
I am slowly working on my Autumn Sampler from the Proper Stitcher. Hopefully it will be done soon. Looking forward to seeing how you finish yours. Great reminders to make from your visit to San Antonio.
Glad to see you back, I always enjoy your videos. It’s fun to hang out with sisters. Two of my sisters and I have been taking vacations together the last two years and we always have a great time. I wish our oldest sister could join us but she is committed to caring for her son. Your previous finishes are so cute and so well done. I love that purple bag, the material is so pretty.
@@suncitystitchers7793 yes, I have fraternal girl twin cousins and fraternal aunt Marvis and uncle Marvin twin uncles and aunts. I also have fraternal twin nieces that are 10 years old. My daughter and I were obsessed with Mary Kate and Ashley videos while my 34 year old daughter growing up. I had two baby girls 5 years apart born in walla walla that are buried at Mount hope in college place. They died at months and three weeks. So my grown daughter and son is all I have now.
The Halloween Shadowbox was a design by Nancy Wahler of Faithwurks. She included the shadowbox as part of the kit so I don’t have an item number for it. I think Hobby Lobby used to carry them, but I’m not sure if they still do. We included a link for Nancy’s Facebook page you can contact her too and see if she has any to sell or if she could share where she purchased them. Hope that helps! Have a great weekend.
I’m always amazed at how much stitching you both accomplish. Now I want the Erin Elizabeth Halloween tiier. I’m looking forward to visiting Texas in a couple of weeks.
Oh my! So much fabulous stitchy goodness! I loved seeing your finishes and WIPs. It's so inspiring to see your passion for cross stitch. I recently traveled to the Stitchery Nook in Osage, Iowa. She had a model of Pumpkin Row by October House stitched on toweling. I just loved it so I'm stitching on that today. I love these skinny row pillows. Thanks for taking the time for your channel! @ddestitches
We love the skinny row designs too. We have a couple of the charts, but haven’t stitched any yet. Thanks for watching our channel and have a great weekend.
I love seeing you both and always look forward to Saturday morning. I love all your finishes and, of course, your stitching. I did get my ticket for Jingle Ball. Did you decide on any classes this year? See you in November, and happy stitching.
Thank you! We got our Jingle Ball tickets too. Marlene did not choose any classes, I signed up for two-Satsuma Street and Lindy Stitches. Did you take any classes.
Great to see you both again! You both have many beautiful stitches to show. I so enjoy seeing your progress and what you are planning to work on! Have fun at camp and I can’t wait to see what you stitch on there!
Thanks for joining us! We count our stitches the old fashioned way😂. That’s why we don’t do a lot of tracking number of stitches. We haven’t ventured into using pattern keeper, etc. for stitching. Do you use an app for your stitching?
I'm so glad you had a great time with family and got to sightsee in SA. You have been really stitching a lot on your houses. It's been fun all year to watch your progress on them and your other wips. Have fun at camp. ❤
So good to see you again. I have missed you both. The baseball finish looks great. I need to finish mine. So glad you had a good vacation with your cousins.
We had such a great visit with family and so much fun with our sisters. We are already planning the next sister trip. We hope you are having a great weekend.
Thanks for watching! Moonlight Night is a design by Twin Peaks Primitive. It was in the 2023 winter issue of Punch Needle & Primitive Stitcher magazine. I think there are back issues available online, but I’m not sure about that.
I have missed you two and was a tad worried. No, not a pitiful start given all the stitching you do. Gold stars to you both for encouraging a person to start a cross stitch journey. 💫💫 I do enjoy all that you present in these videos. Your stitching and finishes are wonderful and encouraging. I am considering a Chatalaine but I am put off by the vast variety of threads by different makers of the threads. It would be costly to purchase them and not potentially not have the chance to use them up elsewhere. I will have to think hard about this. The bag looks very beautiful. I like the look of Anna Funk, thank you. So glad you are back. 😊
We are so glad you enjoy what we share. We do not use all the called for threads when we stitch our Chatelaines. We use anchor/DMC, and then overdyed floss from our stash(weeks dye works, Classic Colors, and Sampler Threads). We do buy the Rainbow Gallery Treasure braids and we like to order the bead packs from European cross stitch. They are really fun designs to stitch. You should give it a try. Which design are you thinking about stitching?
I very much enjoyed seeing all the projects that you've been working on. You've made such great progress on so many of your wips. I had forgotten that you were working on Anniversaries of the Heart and yours is so beautiful. I've been collecting up some of the charts for that but not sure if I'll do them individually rather than one big piece. You two are so delightful to watch and your stitching and finishing always inspires me. Thank you so much for another wonderful video. I hope you enjoy your stitch camp next week as it sounds like so much fun. Happy stitching!
Thanks for watching. We will share camp details in our next video. We are happy with progress we have made this year and right now we are really trying to concentrate on getting a few more WIPs finished before the end of the year.
Loved all the beautiful stitching! Such a variety of many great charts. I have been in a slump lately. And seeing all of the beautiful projects really helped me restart mine. Thank you for the great video!!
