Most of you are wrong about this, this is a B&N Mobil Directo with a 3t22 playing in the background. This particular model includes an electric motor and a maintenance platform like you would see with Canadian Line Materials sirens, or CLMs. If you want more info trust me i got it!! Edit: this siren was installed from the 40s to the 70s and its extremely rare.
@@Tqbrock that’s pretty cool, thanks for sharing. You are correct about the model, there is a plaque below that says that. I should have included it in the video.
This was taken along the Welland canal which links Lake Ontario to Lake Erie for shipping. Having just watched a documentary on the mighty Mississippi River they do look very similar in some areas. Thanks watching the video and commenting. :)
That's awesome! My wife and I were on the Polaris at that passing. We were on the top observation deck. The Polaris was heading for Lake Ontario, but I can't tell which one is which. Thanks for posting that.
That’s pretty cool you were on that ship!! It was the first time I’ve personally seen a passenger ship in the Welland canal and when I saw there was a second one coming I had to go check it out. I later went and looked up the Polaris ship you were on and it’s amazing! It has everything anyone would want. I like the clean and spacious layout and various personal hot tub options. I hope you had great cruise and glad you enjoyed the clip.
@@myrandomnadventures It was amazing. I hadn't been on a ship since my last cruise 34 years ago. Modern huge ships and all the hoopla didn't appeal to me. This was different, no casinos or kids and plenty of interesting things to do. Food was awesome, crew was superb and I would highly recommend the cruise line. I was born and raised until 5th grade in Fort Erie but had never seen the other lakes or the canal from a ship and I'm so glad I did. Your video topped it off!
@@jakejacobs7584 I’m already browsing the Viking website, I appreciate the info about your experience.. I put up a quick video of the Viking Polaris ship you were on. This is from the same day just before the two ships passed. Viking Polaris Passenger Ship - Welland Canal (4K Video - Aerial view) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-eYoD4S6dXgE.html
This is sad. The wildlife has been run out from their home. The greedy city would rather build over this conservation land with protected species or ones at risk for their own gain. Ignoring pleas for more environmental assessment from the residents and concerned citizens.
I agree, we are quickly running out of green spaces and we need to protect what we have before it’s gone for both the animals sake and for future generations to enjoy.
Heartbreaking loss of biodiversity, wildlife, ecosystems. This is not displaced wildlife only, which is irresponsible enough, it is deliberate aniliation with no compassion whatsoever.
Good eye! I never noticed it until you pointed it out, a quick save indeed. It must be difficult always having so many people watching you all the time, taking photos, etc.
Look Like a volcano. I am looking on buying one too. And also will be doing a video on it. I got some cool ideas on what I can do with it. Cool thermal camera.
@@isabelbelly8306 Toby is a 18 month old Bernese Mountain dog. The breed originated in Switzerland and are designed for cold weather. He has a super warm coat and webbed feet for staying on top of deep snow and for swimming. Best of all he’s got the best, sweetest personality. Always happy, tail wagging constantly knocking things over with it. Check out my channel for more videos of him and consider subscribing so you know when new videos of him are posted :)
