hi, my problem is when I attach this item to my monopod, I cannot move it around because it's fixed and there is no ball head for turning in all directions! do you think we can add a small ballhead and solve this problem?
I just received my Benro monopod from Amazon today and sure enough the feet were loose just as you described. I tried to tighten them up and found the feet would not secure. I went to the local Ace Hardware and purchased a 3/8 in.-16 Hex Nut. They had the nut in two heights. I chose the nut with the lower height. I believe I payed $0.55 for the nut. I installed the nut on my new monopod like you demonstrated and it did the job perfectly. Thanks for the suggestion. P.S. Benro, if you are reading this. Why don't you include this nut with you monopods to fix this design flaw?
Thank you thank you thank you! I've never experienced issues with this until I changed the bottom, and then every single time the base was unscrewinging itself. Thank you! Like to this video.
I bought the newer version of this monopod and it still does what you're (Ryan) are experiencing. I was going to send my back but now I'm going to buy a nut and do the same as I like the monopod, but not happy that is moves around. Also, don't worry about the video not being so fancy. You got the point across and that's excellent to me!
Only 1 video on youtube like this, and this is greatest movie i saw by mavic 2 pro, thats why i want buy one for me, thanks for this mate! So much inspiration!
Thanks Kelley, Log footage can be tricky but once you find the sweet spot its amazing. There are some free luts you can find on RU-vid etc. Try to use those as a base and then adjust as needed.
Beautiful work, man. Thanks for putting this together. I have a Mavic 2 Pro, which I’d like to use for some upcoming short films. So my big question is ... How do you capture decent sound and sync it all up? I want to shoot regular scenes with dialogue, and the Mavic obviously doesn’t have a built-in mic. What would you recommend for capturing character dialogue?
@@shotbyryan yes exactly! It's so hard to find projects that people have actually made use of the tool, rather then just a bunch of random "test" shots. Check out my latest upload. Same concept but with the Osmo Pocket.
Hi Christian, You can tighten them with an allen wrench. You'll have to fine tune it and make it as tight as you can but still be able to open and close the tightening clamps easily.
You can also purchase this adapter here, which does not require having to drill anything: www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1131913-REG/dracast_dr_sm_360_360_degree_swivel_mount.html
Nice Vid. And you didn’t miss much in the way of pushing the camera. Still prefer my P4 but portability isn’t a problem for me. But it’s very close. And a very nice set

What are you trying to unscrew? If you are trying to unscrew the feet I would suggest plyers if you can't get it by hand. But make sure you don't damage the monopod.
Great video. Do you know if the Benro VT2 legs works with the Sirui P-306 Monopod? Here's the link. www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/822255-REG/Sirui_BSRP306_P_306_6_Section_Aluminum_Monopod.html
whoah, this video needs more views! This has been such an issue with multiple studios I work with. Definitely going to do this asap. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the tip! I've been having the same problem and I'm totally gonna try this. Another issue I have is I can't unscrew the red bit by hand. Seems to be tightened too much.
