Incredible! A 3 minute video that contains the facts and no fluff. All RU-vid posters should learn from this, that there are people out there that respect our time. I became an subscriber instantly.
Some people are pretty stupid and don’t realize that 25 miles multiplies. Every time you’re driving 25 miles on electric you’re not using gas at all. Every time I get home from going anywhere I plug it out even if it’s only for an hour. In Ohio electricity is much cheaper than gas. I love driving the car when it’s in electric mode. What’s awesome about this car is that when you do drive it as a hybrid it still will go into electric vehicle mode. A lot of the time.
I just bought one. Yea im a cpl years late. But i love this car and my 2 young boys love it! Very sporty! Although I never hit the sport button.... Thank you for the comparison!
Bro I watched this video because I don't know what any of that stuff means and you didn't explain shit. All you did was show video of the car from different angles and say mumbo jumbo without explanation. This helped nothing.
If you read the 198 pages in the owners manual on how these systems work you will discover they don't work in a large number of driving conditions we drive in regularly. The number of situations when the braking system may activate when there is no emergency is a long list and I drive in conditions like that on a daily basis. This means I need the system off more than I need it one. Turning it off every time you cycle the car off and on is ridiculous. There should be an easier way.
These "safety systems" are all bs and not for drivers. They are for lazy f#($ that want to spend time messaging/talking on their phone instead of driving. For people that actually drive their cars and pay attention they are just something else to go wrong.
You may want to update this to show what can be done with the 2023 Prius which has a longer range - is 2.5 hours the fastest it can be charged? how about the 2023?
Perhaps I missed it but is there a setting to adjust/disable the backup camera alert for I did not see that on the video. Also I am installing a scooter lift on my 2018 Highlander and it blocks the backup camera. Does Toyota have the capability to move the backup camera higher on the hatchback door so that it will make the backup camera useful again? Thank you
Pcs is always going off for no reason. If i didn't have it turned all the way down, it would have caused me to get rear ended. Even when I am slowing down, sometimes it decides that it will do it for me, and that results in the truck slamming it's brakes, even though it's not needed. I end up fighting the vehicle for control. It pisses me off.
I almost got into an accident today because of the PCS. Guy in front of me was slowing down to take a left turn, so I slowed down too. Note that I had 40+ feet of clearance between us. PCS decided I wasn’t slowing down enough and decided to brake automatically for me, making all my stuff fall to the floor, making my tires screech, and making everyone else behind me brake hard as well.
