@SynthzStar it does seem that a few people have been passing these patches around via the UDO forum, given that they are no longer able to buy them since Steven’s death. Several have asked if there’s any way they could send money to Steven’s family in return for these. Did you know him personally and do you have any way of contacting his family?
I just read that for very sad reasons those patches dont seem to be available for regular purchase anymore...If there should be anyone around who has them and would be willing to share, I'd be more than happy!
The best sounding modern polysynt in the world! Charismatic, beautiful, raw, fat, with a lot of character. Very close if not better than vintage Jupiter 6/8. A must have for keyboard players.

I'm just 2 weeks into owning one, and it's a joy to hear and program. One weak link sonically, i think, is the delay effect. As delays go, it's thin and uninspiring. I do wish it had a mod wheel, and I wish the arpeggiator had a mode that arpeggiates in the order you played the notes. BUT, I'm not complaining really. I'm very happy with it, and the feel of the keys, switches, and knobs is first rate! Nothing flimsy here, and that's part of what you are paying for.
First Comment! I noticed, from 2:04 to 2:12, that the footage shown was from "The Bionic Woman" 2-parter "Fembots in Las Vegas", rather than "The Six Million Dollar Man".
Brilliant work bro. No budget for this synth... but the binaural is so ALIVE! I genuinely believe nothing compares (tho I wish for a soft synth version). Excellent patch work! Bravo!
Transceive, given your time with both the UDO 6 and the Hydrasynth Deluxe, what is your opinion of the two in comparison? I know they are quite different and I am trying to decide which to buy if you can give a quick pro/con. Either way I plan to pick up your patches. They sound fantastic.

I'm gonna challenge myself to try and ''recreate'' these patches on my Jupiter 80 (I know, the blasphemy synth). I'm in the market for a UDO 6 but I need to be sure. My mind says YES, my heart says YES, but my wallet has doubts. Ps: nevermind, my JP80 will NEVER sound as good as this :(. Ps2: I have a Jupiter 80 for sale, mint condition, good price ;).
Sounds great man. Quick question….in your opinion, does the super 6 sound similar to the Hydrasynth? I have seen some talk about this online. I already own a Hydrasynth and I’m not the biggest fan of the sound although the only thing is a complete animal.
Thanks. I think they sound completely different. I see the Super 6 as fat & lush & the Hydra good for anything digital , metallic etc. I know it can do analogue emulation but think it excels in morphing digital textures best.
I would love to know how you programmed the Fairlight Sararr sound at 28:18. I don't have a Super 6, but it would be great to try to recreate this on some other synths I have.
Hi, That patch uses a custom wave which is a converted wavetable of the original sample. I used the S6's DDS super detune & chorus to thicken it up and layered with a PWM'd square on Osc 2 So you'd need a synth that can play samples or wavetables and simulate the layering & chorus effect
@@transceive Ahhh OK, that makes more sense. I was wracking my brain trying to figure out how you got that from an analog synth! I could do this with my Summit.
