Yes, I use lazarus, go up through the top of valley into the keycard room, shove, grab the keycard, and get out (It doesn’t work if you get a broken leg, or usually if sq is down there, However earlier, I managed to go down there with laz and sq down there and I survived while getting the key, so Idk)
update guys You can use drifter and medic combo on night 1 to 3 drifter will cloak and medic gives buff he goes in and gets the card quickly (Note that u should remove the knife weapon drifter has the second u enter the card place and also you will die in the process but medic will stay)
Thats the cheese way to do it. And while it aint nothin illegal, its hella looked down uppon. When you cheese, ur just going for the rewards, which arent all that worth it, plus it gets boring fast.
@@gush1755 What you call cheese, I call efficient use of resources. Why waste all that ammo on the queen when you can drop in, get the card, drop out, and use those guns for the waves?
efficient wasting ammo that you will use on the evac is not efficient and plus its also kind of a hustle because the poison on the poison knife got darker meaning it will be hard so it kinda depends on how you wanna do it
@@thunderspark1536The lab's purpose is to give the players a challenge, using drifter and laz combo to cheese the whole lab just makes the run boring. I used to cheese lab alot back then, but the more I got used to the game It actually became more fun when I actually tried to fight the cultists and not just bum rush through them.
@@mouthless16 I can certainly see that point of view, but I 99.9% of the time play with randoms so the boredom of that kind of success never really happens to me. I'm much more of a casual gamer, even with Decaying Winter ironically enough.
Pretty sure the mountain cheese was patched, you take damage if you go up and stay there too long. Dont even think about submitting that run for a challenge in the server.

how to manage your ammos: - use hi capa (the easiest blueprint and loot to find) with light ammos in the sq's countener to beat all waves + fire bomb (and SMG for yosef) - use any guns in evac, you often get +150 light ammos for the preparation
Tbh, if you kill Sledgequeen solo and have guns to shoot 4 types of ammo, you're doing great ammo-wise. Just tap-fire, use firebombs if you have some to spare, explosives, melee some stragglers, and use Light ammo as your burner ammo type for weaker scavs/normal waves. Def save non-light ammo for lab, night 10 and evac.
Alternatively to save resources you could melee fight Sledge Queen. But, this requires you to lure her to a fighting spot using holos and stuff, then needing to use light attacks to damage her. Parries and Shoves are vital if you want to melee fight her as her shellshots can be cancelled with shoves and parries give you time to damage her.
This is a good way that i use all the time (i almost never use guns to kill her) but i decided to not include it since - lets be honest, you prob arent here to melee SQ, theres lots of guides for that already. Plus sometimes meleeing her is even more rng then gunning her down, if she jumps, ur 90% dead, ur ping is above 150, good luck shoving a shellshot, less then 2 mins of time, you might die to storm unless with a good melee like firerier axe. Meleeing her isnt hard,but it will take time to learn, and will just sometimes be your death due to bad rng like her jumping, bad ping, no time, ext. In conclussion, meleeing her can be usefull for an extremely early kill and not much resources lost, but it requires skill, patience, and a lot of luck.
