Great job! I've been wanting to learn layering. I missed something here, though, did you apply the frame on the back to the bead with the hole, or just the solid stone?

Thank you for the tutorial with odd stones .i have many stones bit of a rock hound, but your tutorial will make so some of the stones wearable. It is hard to concentrate since I also have lost my mom, it will be 4 months. I bead to make a make some things to ease the loss. I have been beading for over twenty years but mostly loom work and are trying new techniques
Love your side-by-side!! Hmmmm.... Since white is the accumulation of color, stands to reason it'd show brilliantly through clear! Weird how reason says to use white with clear.... The green is perfect! In some cases, the smoke will mute to the colors around it, as well. Thanks for the video!
