Those flail mowers are brutal, flinging rocks at you all day and shit, plus the hornets nests you invariably run into, damn it! I don’t mind running a tractor all day, have done since before I drove a car but mowing flat out sucks man! But it has to be done, so suck it up and get er done boy! That’s what my dad would say! 😂💪👊👍
Putting fertilizer on the grass Is like listening to your mother when you are a kid when it comes to taking vitamins. The grass can use a little extra nutrients.
Sucks to hear you are closing your business. I absolutely love bush hogging, don't do it for a living but on my farm and for a few people that live nearby and need it.
I like watching you cut, not sure but I’ll ask anyway, a drone shot would be awesome, an over the top to see the acreage, man that bush hog cuts like butter lol
I used to mow roughs on a 180 acre golf course in central Ohio. I used a kaboto tractor with a 15 foot batwing mower. Took 3-4 days to mow the entire course plus the driving range. It was never ending. I’d start in the front mowing towards the back and when I finished would start over in th front.
Sad that farmers aren't hiring to have their pastures done, etc. Maybe call your County, Counties hire people to drive tractors and bush hog along highways in summer, snowplow roads in winter, put gravel down on roads, etc.
This economy has the farmers in a bind, high diesel fuel prices, unstable prices, high operating cost on equipment and labor. I'm lucy to be in a position in healthcare where my job pays very well and I can run my little 20-acre farm without having to worry. If farming full time it would be rough right now.
Thankyou for taking the time and effort to share. Too bad that this is not an uncommon trend with small businesses lately. Good luck and hopefully we see some more stuff in the future. Thanks again
