I've just created my first storybook but hated how it looked when I uploaded it on KDP, Thank you so much for this video :) I'm going to redo it hopefully I can get it right.
Thank you for the wonderful video tutorial! How can I resize a junk journal kit, let's just say an image of a split page for example, how can I resize it so that the pages will be a specific size when they print? I have a few kits and printed normally, I can only make journals 8x11. I'd like to make one with the images that is 5x7 for example. How can I do this?
you can resize the document in its entirety on canva or when you print via your printer settings. But if you want to change images on Canva themselves, you can click the image and drag a corner to resize it. As you do so canva displays the item size you are moving
@@LTMarshall your little bad words are a relief. I can't stand the baby little girl talk and infantile words and phrases other creators use or have. I'm not E for everyone.
@@LTMarshall not to me, they're beautiful and speak poetry lol. I'm American and most people do not like me. I'm not very nice according to them. According to me, they're cry babies.
LOL!!!!!!! ive used double sided tape ONCE....about 3 years ago...WAY MORE THAN 5 MINUTES OF SWEAR WORDS!!!!!! I died laughing when you said that! MAYBE..i will find a tool and try again... i love grunge!!
So..question. i live in Florida..USA. ITS HOT!!! 80sn 90s. NO A/C. So when it gets hot in your storage box or album or whatever...does it melt and get gross and get all over stuff? Never crafted with any kind of wax
I live in Scotland, and even in summer, it's not hot enough to melt wax in our houses. I am assuming wherever you are, you would follow the rules of your candles
How very cool!! I love the bug!! BUT..i was a bit freaked at first...catch kill microwave bugs? OH H NOOOO!!!! LOL!!!! GLAD YOU SAID HE WAS A STAMP!! i have alot of bug stamps...lol. thank you!!
Aloha doll! I stumbled across your channel a while ago, so happy I did. Love your style. I'm in D&G!!! Adopted Scotland as my home in 2004, former Scouser seeking a more relaxed life. ❤ Thank you for your videos & ideas.
Thankyou for making this so simple, yet so effective! Sympathies with the hayfever, me too! I alternate between bunged up or nose running like a tap 🚰 😂
But HOW? Seriously, this is 95% about you making a layout and VERY little on actually making a double page spread. Is it even possible to SEE a DPS in Canva? Or is this really just a hack-like workaround to make two pages that eventually show as a DPS when they are exported?
You are on video 6. We made them in sequence and explained how to make pages in other videos. You can only make a double page spread as one sheet but most places like amazon want single sheet PDF. So we do them when joining backgrounds this way or else make them as single pages. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-YSW9J8yPPhQ.html
You will need to export as single pages if you upload to KDP. This was just a video on making 2 pages of a layout so they are well aligned when you split them up for KDP. IE - when your backgrounds need to match up.
@@LTMarshall Thanks for the clarification. I normally use and teach InDesign for page layout, but I'm prepping for running a magazine design and production project with multiple groups of students, and for a fistful of frustrating reasons the process will have to be done using Canva. It does have some useful tricks (multiple users working on one document looks promising, for one) but there are some hideously weak areas.
@@slowtvkeithmartin8139 ah ok. Canva is great for most folk as it's basic and does the job well for small indie publishers. My business partner is a photoshop user and even she has turned to using canva for most projects now x
I jyst came across your video and really enjoyed it. I am going to try and make some of these index cards. Very nice and grungy i love that you upcycle. ( i hope i spelled it right)
