Saw this guy in 1999 on a rafting trip in Ohio Pyle, PA. We went out to the backyard of a local bar. There, among the bales of hay, was some dude with a guitar, who proceeded to blow the minds of all gathered. Unforgettable.
Hey Darryl Marsha and I just googled you and found your stuff. So great to hear you and know that you’re still out there doing that thang!! Best wishes. Lewis McGehee
This makes me genuinely sad in a way. This place seemed like the most down to Earth family fun center in the history of existence itself. It obviously doesn't seem like it was ever the most exciting place on the planet, but it's also kind of sad to see such a down to Earth company end up going under because it had zero chance of succeeding. Never would succeed since it was located in, of all places, Orlando FL.
In my mind, this would’ve been replaced by Disaster Heroes, a 4-D theater attraction featuring characters of different elements, and it would’ve contained a BIGGER theater than the original.
Doug, I have just spent the last several nights writing several articles about upcoming festivals that you are scheduled to be performing in, (for The St. Augustine Entertainer Magazine). After one listen to you performing your music, I know exactly why I was given these particular assignments. You are great! Looking forward to seeing you perform in person at these upcoming fests!
So great to see this with the whole gang, including Michelle. Love the outdoor setting for this beautiful nostalgic environmental song. It always makes me cry. Thanks, Gail Carson!
i used to go to this place for many of my and other friends birthdays in my childhood. sad to know y'all shut down. you will always have a place in my heart ollie :(
What a wonderful song by our great friend Joe Virga encouraging us to light a candle for the poor , the old and insecure, for the homeless, simply for all our fellow neighbors in need..... We are all God's big family and every single one of us deserves to be thought of , cherished and loved..... Thank you so much , dear Joe , for all your all everlasting warm-heartedness , for your consistency and for all the love you poured out into this world...... Rest in peace , my dear friend......
