B&F95 thanks for your quick response. A #3 nymph rod is great with light and quick in action. Do you think I can get the same results with a #5 10.3 feet rod? I'm a little bit new in the Czech / Polish nymph fishing methods. But your advice and great videos are very helpful so far!!
Lijnse Your welcome!! do not worry ! 10.3 # 5 is great for rivers with big fish and lots of water , where you have to use heavy nymphs . Even in smaller rivers okay anyway , compared to a #3 have less sensitivity however, you should use a line 3/4 also with rod 5 , so you have less weight on the reel ... I hope to help you... Thanks to know that my simple but effective #5 nymph rod is sufficient to catch some nice fish too around Sondrio or Valtellina. Your advice to fish the matching reel with a 3-4# line is also welcome. I've already fabricate a variety of your tungsten paterns and the great Pipam.org website.
