Driving test tips, driving test routes, London driving test centres, Find out what happens on the day of the driving test. Short notice test car hire for all London test centres.
I've noticed some major improvements to that Tesco roundabout. I remember a few years back when I was on a test that the 4th exit could hardly be seen as it was covered by hedges.
Terrible test center to take at, difficultly is high as Hounslow is one the worst places to drive though, and also Whitton highstreet. Therefore I suggest Ashford it's much better, I done mine there and passed first time.
Hi Sab there are several test routes for all test centres and they are subject to change at the examiners discretion, your driving Instructor should show you around the the area to show you the more tricky points about the test centre routes. ie coming out of the test centre in Isleworth doing a right turn at the gate, the visibility can be poor due to cars/vans parked on the right hand side. I have seen people fail before they even start because they didn't see a on coming car.
Hi This is only showing test route or guidance of how to follow steps during the test. i.e Pull up on the left and then drive on when ready. But did not explain signal right blind spot checks etc.
This video is only to shows you a rough guide of the test area, giving signals and checking blind spots is what your driving instructor show be covering with you.
Hi Kamil this video is only for guidance to give you a rough idea of the test area. There are more than 10-15 different test routes. Your driving Instructor should be able to show you more of the test area(routes).
I just want to draw attention that @1:25 Subtitle says "At the end of this road turn left". But car turned right , I think need to change the subtitle to avoid confusion.
Hi Atul well spotted, this was a mock test and what the driving instructor is telling the learner driver is what is on the subtitles. Note that on your driving test if you accidentally go in a different direction as instructed by the examiner, so long as you don't make a driving error it should not be counted as a driving mistake.
+Mister singh it would be a good idea to get your Driving Instructor to give you lessons at that time of your test a few days before, so you get used to the traffic on the roundabouts, yes it will be busy and there is a school nearby, so your meeting traffic needs to be spot on.
Hi Arjan at 8am your probably won't be taken to the "big roundabouts" due to heavy traffic. I would try and book some driving lessons before the test, at the same time of your driving test so you get used to the traffic conditions at the time of your driving test.
it have mistake in the video !! in the first big roundabout when going in the 4 exit. how can stay in the left hand side !! normally position in right hand side !!
+latoya taylor Hi Latoya, 1.35pm is a good time to take a test in Isleworth driving test centre as it is just after lunch time. I sure your driving Instructor will show around the test route areas. Good luck with your practical driving test.
+latoya taylor This video is to give you an idea of the Isleworth test area, we have videos for other driving test centres in London. Subscribe to the channel to view all videos.
The traffic can vary due to road works, school holidays, rugby etc Normally between 8am to 9am the traffic can be heavy because of the near by schools.
