Where is 18 axis? I find only 9 motors. And it is not needed 2 motors to each vertikal axis. By fact there are only 6 motors needed: 1 x, 1 y, 3 vertical and 1 rotation.
I mean its a pretty decent speed given the construction of it, nothing spectacular tho, id want a faster rapid for anything that i expect to run production on tho, i imagine the feed rate is pretty ok tho, for this type of setup, this isnt exactly a giant cast machine tho
The gantry can go to up to 2m/s with accelerations of up to 3.5G. Though there are of course faster gantries in the market. However, hardly any alternative allows achieving both, single digit microns for accuracy and repeatability and 2m/s speed.
So how does this laser deal with power loss as it raises the Z axis to widen the beam? I mean I assume it's for burning and not for what it's doing on the glow board for the demo
