Is this Xanthan gum soft or clear? My Xanthan gum doesn’t hydrate even when dispersed like this and always settles to the bottom of the container aftwr a few days . I use cold water
to be clear, the weights listed for the second and third ingredient are for the total including the ingredients poured before it,. right? so it's actually .95g of rosin and 1.35g of jojoba, correct?
Because our witch hazel is water based there may be some separation which may require you to use an emulsifier. It is advisable to a small test on this first before making a larger batch.
Mine lasted about 8 months then it kinda wore off coz I washed it too aggressively. Bought mine online though. So now I'm watching videos so I can revive it.
If we are not mistaken, flavour oils can be consumed and fragrance oils are for cosmetic and soap making purposes. If unsure it is best to ask your supplier on the oil usage just to be safe. Hope this helps.
@@afifihussain2095 It could be the grade of your pine rosin. If it is not sticky, try adding more pine rosin to the wrap and melt it down. Otherwise try a different grade. Hope it works this time. Do let us know.
Hi Haneen, we researched and found the Damar resin can be a substitute to Pine rosin. However we have never tried that recipe. Hope this helps and thanks for watching!
Extracts are a lower concentration compaired to the oils. For example, Vanilla extracts is widely used for consumption but Vanilla oil is too concentrated and precious for cooking. Best to follow a trusted supplier guidelines on comsumption. Thanks for watching Vikings98!
The melting point is around 65 degrees. We haven't tried mixing this wax with others as it is such a lovely wax on its own. But we are confident it can be blended with other waxes if you need to.
