Very happy you got to enjoy Italy. I love that country and when I first visited, I ended up going to every single location featured in the Ezio Trilogy of Assassin's Creed. Venice is one of them. Hope you got to enjoy some of the traditional tourist locations especially all around Piazza San Marco.
Last time I slept on a train was the overnight AmYrak from St Paul (Transfer Road) to Whitefish, MT way back in the day. We did Coach and wow, that wasnt comfy at all.
You left us hanging - did you get your breakfast?? 😆 I took an overnight train from Rome to Paris years ago, though it didn't look nearly as nice as this one. I definitely want to try it again sometime. Also - rare Geocaching Vlogger episode without any geocaches! Not that im complaining, traveling is a huge part of caching.
I love me some Daniel footage! He is such a handsome guy. The train is a fantastic mode of transportation. Especially if you can move around some and boy that privacy is worth the ticket. Your own bathroom. Nice!
I wonder, were you supposed to go to breakfast? Looks like a fun adventure for sure, and I think I would have had the same nervousness about getting it right.
I thought that was Venice! It was one of my favorite cities, and with no cars, so peaceful. I got a cache in almost every city that we visited, Venice, Florence, Rome and Positano. I wasn't able to get one in Assisi or on Murano because we were part of a tour group.
