I'm just a car guy that loves most forms of auto racing. Recently I decided to upload some videos I've taken over the years as a way of recording the history of what's been going on with racing and events at the tracks I support. I'm gonna try to record videos at each event I attend and race at, so be on the lookout for New Videos from Wichita Raceway Park, Ardmore Dragway, Xtreme Raceway Park and anywhere else I may travel. Port fuel injection on a 408 LS with methanol. The 2 injectors are an idle circuit basically that shut off at a preset rpm. The engine was having fuel puddling in the exhaust down low actually causing the car to spin on the launch. By putting the fuel above the throttle plate it’s breaking up the alcohol droplets more and allowing better fuel mixing in the intake at idle and low rpm’s.
@@TheSargeG443 Have you thought about sandwiching a fine metal screen material between the intake manifold and the head? When the alcohol hits the screen it will cause it to atomize. We used to cheat with open wheels doing this. It would bust up the fuel droplets into a finer mist and give you a couple extra horses.

@@TheSargeG443 Also, not sure if you are aware, some of the C-130's parked at Sheppard are there just for the tech school trainees. I was stationed at Sheppard back in 2002 for tech school. My class did some training on one of the IFF radios (I was bomb-nav). If you are where I think you are, to the left is the big hanger, that had a B-52 in it that we used for training on its systems (we ran the radar one day on it)
Yes, the MC part is what I was concerned about. This acft has some special stuff on the tail that is different than other J models and the paint scheme is another difference from a Slick C-130J. Those are all the standard AF grey, not the darker color grey special ops uses.
My dad was a load master on the old H models. The local Minnesota Airforce Reseve unit is scheduled to receive the latest model C 130. C 130 flight pattern gies right over my house. Gid bless our airmen.

Just doing an experiment on the cheap and looking over the quality of the parts I received. Everything I’ve gotten has been decent quality for the price. Not going to apologize for experimenting with my own money, just to learn something and have a little fun.
Plan on making more videos with the in car stuff. I use them for data, but they’re good to let everyone know what happens in many bracket cars during race day.
Only thing about them Gen 5's is no mechanic fuel pump boss but other than that its solid! Did a build, did marine HO internals, .30 over, 8.75-1ish 😂 and a set of speedmaster 320cc heads with a Single plane intake with a 850 Quick fuel and shes soild! Lives on a Touring Airboat and has 1200 Hours now
I call it a 68 -72…. It’s a mix of years and it’s a normal nova no wide body. When the backhalf was put in it for the big tires the rear 1/4 panels were pulled out at the bottom instead of stretching the wheel wells. Kept them from doing a bunch of body work and a repaint.
Sadly soon all gas cars will be banned in EU and USA! In France they have a new banning law for ICE cars called SCHLABOUBVE and in Switzerland the HESCHLAVVO law! In Scandinavian countries soon there will be a so called SMORVERBIDEN law. In Germany from 2027 the new BABVVO and TEBBVO laws by the green peoples party will bann all gas cars from public streets only exception will be professional commuter trips and state-certified transports!!!
