Come along with me as I set out to fix my life by getting my college degree, getting back in shape, and figuring out just exactly who I really am along the way.
I'm so sorry. I'll try to spread the word farther. I really hope your mother gets free from the situation and lives a happy life. I know we can do it and raise the money to reach the goal.
I'm speak from personal experience, and from the experience of others I know who have gone through the same thing. They have been laughed at, made fun of, and made to feel unwelcome at gyms due to their size. Not everyone who goes to a gym was fat when they started going.
If you're trying to get in shape to appeal to others you're going to ultimately fail or end up never reaching a point where you're ever truly satisfied with your results. You need to do it for yourself, and no one else.
I'm sorry you feel that you have to look "ripped and shredded" to be appealing. I'm honestly not crying about anything here. I am pointing out a simple truth. When someone who isn't thin goes to the gym they are often treated in a cruel fashion by gym users who are in shape. I don't need to see people who are in shape to become inspired to get in better shape. I inspire myself.
You can have cheat days, but you have to make sure you don't go crazy. A cheat day shouldn't involve eating tons of unhealthy foods that you miss eating. On my cheat days I still eat relatively healthy. I just indulge by using a different dressing on my salad that I would normally want to avoid. Or by eating a little bit of milk chocolate. It's all about control, and not using a cheat day to eat poorly.
You seem to have a nice personality and seem to want to make some genuine change. Good for you, but that 3:30 kind of made it apparent you don't know what you're really talking about. No one starts off fit most of the fit people in the gym with you come from modest backgrounds. I'm proud of you for starting boot camp, don't quit when it gets hard.
I am ALL TOO FAMILIAR with the RAMPANT discrimination against people of size like myself. Personally I always went to Planet Fitness because of their "Judgement Free Zone" policy. They even take care of your cheat day for you by hosting Pizza Night on Mondays! I believe in you and good luck on your adbenture!
Yeah, that was kind of my thought, too. If it were a joke from a friend they would have taken credit. I think it was meant to be mean, and so the candy is in the trash.
you ARE the girl who has people come up and say nice things to her! It happened to you! I think you are extremely pretty and I am soooo jealous of your hair :-) Often people are drawn to our confidence and the light within us, and it shines through in your videos.
