one of the most valuable 3 minutes videos I have ever followed. Photoshop has become too expensive and I am looking for alternatives. Thanks for this wonderful tutorial
I wish they would just add this feature directly. or at least make a way to select the layer boundaries, as sadly this method doesn't work for layers with alpha (you can workaround by making a copy of the layer and removing its transparency, but come on all this extra work just to get guides is silly)
Thanks, nice & clear. What I was hoping to find though, was how to expand the pattern so there is space between your orange dots (like the basic polka dot pattern but with user "dots"). Thanks anyway.
thank you, I have a question, I have made it with GIMP with Freddie Mercury. How can I setup the image of Freddie more birght so that I can read ALL letters from the textportrait?
OMG I'm literally a beginner starting from today and this was literally THE BEST super short and to-the-point videos I saw! I applied it as I went with your video and it gave me literally amazinggg results!! Thank you so much!
Instead of erasing you should use a layer mask. It adds a second part to a layer, where you can draw on. White is displayed and everything painted black will be removed. It is much easier to trace add sections back in, that you didn't mean to "erase". (I am doing a bad job of explaining it, I'm sure there are many videos about it)
Nice. Can you do this on a ringed planet with the proper shadowing effects per angle? Accurately shadowing both the rings and the planet per angle can be of tremendous difficulty, though..
As for the computer hardwear needed to speed up inkscape is it the CPU or the RAM, or the graphics card that needs to be up dated. Also what is the optum hardwear to run inkscpae 1.3
