I have an Overdrive unit for mine called a "Todd Toyota Overdrive" made by "T & H Products" in California back in the day, but they are not around anymore.

Nice to see old iron still running. 82 WT Laredo, sitting on my driveway, in the UK. One of the VERY few Jeeps remaining from AMC's short attempt to sell Jeeps in the UK (and Europe) between 79-83. 360 with Edelbrock, NP219, AMC 20, Dana 44 front, RHD converted. Needs serious work. Roof is fubar, for instance, because English wet, not So Cal dry, but just can't junk it. As far as i can tell it's the only 82 Cherk still registered with the UK DMV. 'Rare', redefined.
