I love to pan for gold but on this channel I will try to bring you on a variety of adventures like metal detecting. I really like the beaches but I live almost 3 hours away from the ocean. I do, however have access to such places as the crown point road which is the 1700's military road that runs through this area and there a lot more historical landmarks to explore. I will also be hiking and exploring local history and points of interest. I love the outdoors and I hope you will enjoy watching as we explore Vermont. If there is something you would like to see or something that I can be doing better let me know. I am new to this and welcome any advice and comments.
Quick question, I was going to get the minelab 800 for 850 bucks. Then some 1said the minelab xterra pro I think it's the new multi frequency one is better. And it's 500. What do u think?
I don't know what you are going to be using it for but it sounds like money is not the main concern here. Personally I would shy away from the 800 due to its age and also the fact that it has been replaced by the 900. The xterra looks to be a very capable machine but I have no hands on with it. It may be a good starting point if you are new to the hobby. I don't think you can go wrong with anything from minelab or nokta for that matter. I hope this helped.
@@802OutdoorAdventures yes sir. I appreciate the good information. Probably just roll with the new minelab pro. The 500 dollar one. I Don mind spending money, but don't want to get ass raped either! Lol
Great trip out. Coin looks like George III to me 👍. Nice enlightenment into history of the trails & fixing boggy terrain. I run an Apex, get some great stuff & it loves buttons.
Thank you for sharing! I just received one today as an earlier birthday gift. I look forward to setting it up tomorrow and I feel confident in using it after seeing your video
Its so nice to see ya Brother! There is a huge pay streak just before that lady's sign. You can't miss it.. I got almost a gram.. A storm ripped up the buff... Its prime time over there!
I'm a fairly new gold prospector I was wondering if you can point me in the right direction of an area that has been hit with flash flooding that should have significant amounts of gold is there any chance you're going to be out there tomorrow I don't really know what I'm doing
I recommend classifying only with the 16” Pack Rat. With the 23” Paystreak Finder, and the 3’ (Riverbed) Hog, it is not necessary. As for legality’s, According to the Federal Government (Patent Trademark Office,) and by way of Legal Definition, the Green Mountain Gold Traps Are Legal and 100% a classifier. Looks like doesn’t fly in a court of law. A sluice box, by way of Legal Definition, is something that has riffles, something that has a gate to control water flow, and something that is long, as in Hundreds Of Feet. Vermont, and other States think they can pull stuff out of thin air, and tamper with Legal Definitions. One day, we will meet in a court of law. I look forward to making an example out of them. As an inventor, I have both the Federal Government, and a bulldog Patent Attorney in my corner. Along with many exhibits to back up our claims.
My 2 favorite guys out doing there thing. B in twin rivers campground this coming week I seen you had there shirt on. B are 4th trip there.1 of these days going to make it back to Buffalo creek again. Bin there years back
About a week ago, I tried to explain to a conservation officer that the Green Mountain Gold Trap was a classifier while asking him if I could use one in Vermont, and he laughed and said nope, that's a sluice. "You're good with buckets and those screens" he said, pointing to my Garrett 1/2" mesh classifier, "but any mechanical advantage is a no-no, and if it looks like a sluice, it's s sluice."
This was an absolute killer presentation my friend. I love the detail in the presentation! Long story short, i am a veteran and the VA advised more outdoor relaxing activities that i should take up. I live in rhode island, and i was hoping there was a way i could get one of these pamphlets u handed out at this. And if you could possibly point me in the right direction for some gold panning. I have no delusions of grandeur about getting rich. I just want to try it out. But finding some would be a cool souvenir also. I tried finding geological maps online and it drove me crazy. Please a little assistance. Thank-you
Great job Scott and Kevin from Team Maryland/Delaware! I guess I will need to look into panning to offer other activities in Maryland and Delaware. I know nothing about panning, so there would be a lot to learn.
I’ve been where you are. Let me help you a bit. There aren’t any gold-bearing deposits in Delaware. If you are near Washington, DC, there were a couple creeks that feed into the Potomac that have gold in them. The mountains of Western Maryland have several places where you could find some gold. The mountains of Virginia have a couple of places, but I can’t remember where they are. North Carolina has gold in several places in the mountains to the west. It’s a great hobby, very much like golf or fishing. You never know how well it’s going to go, but it’s a great excuse for being outside all day long.best wishes!
Awesome looks like my brothers had a wonderful time I’m a veteran and I found that getting out there in the woods is a great way to get away from all the stress weather it be hiking gold panning metal detecting thank you so very much for sharing god bless and hope you have a wonderful week 👍👍❤️
