Figure reviews will be released Tuesdays/Thursdays (If I have enough figures to review) , LP's (when I'm doing one) Mondays/Wednesdays/Fridays, & shorts as often as possible!
I hope my channel will bring you something to enjoy and put a smile on your face!
The special colour spacegodzilla what came with little godzilla has the more accurate paint job to the suit since it's brighter The original is more purple than blue the newer one has a darker paint scheme due to it being based on the final battle what happened at night
Ohhhh gotcha thanks for the info! Like I said, I haven’t seen the movie, so I didn’t know that haha I guess between the two, I still feel it’s up to personal preference (depending on what display you want) since this is just a recolor of a 12yr old figure and has different accessories Buuuut, I do feel objectively, this probably has better quality paint? At the same time tho, I don’t have the original to compare, so I’d diverge to those who do Thanks for watching!
I think it’s really good! It’s just that price that’s keeps me on the fence about it. But hey, if you’ve got the disposable income, I’d say grab it before it gets too expensive! And also, thank you for watching!
@@MewMonster58 how much did you get yours for. I just want to see what the lowest price there is for it. I would really want to get this figure fo stop motion and for my collection.
@@Official_Nova717 After taxes and shipping, it was $177. Amazon and Ebay will sadly cost you more cause BBTS is sold out on it (anywhere from what I just saw ~$200 and some change) I would say to pull the trigger now if you do want it, but at the same time, its a lot of money so I don't blame you for deciding not to. I just don't know how quick or slow it'll go up in value/price. Not gonna tell ya how to spend your money lol
You missed the waist rotation, though it's limited. You missed the sliding legs that open up to a wider stance. And you also missed the ab crunch. I know people think that since it's a G1 toy that the transformation is "simple" but it drives me insane that reviewers skip even looking at the instructions that shows all the improvements.
Yeah, that is 100% my fault for not looking at it thoroughly enough Genuine mistake on my part. Will do my best to make sure that doesn’t happen again Thanks for watching and commenting anyway even though I screwed up My apologies
I got the rerelease Mecha King Ghidorah in March and I’m gonna buy the Godzilla 1991 figure this next Friday coming, I do have to agree Goji 91 should’ve had an accessory included but Tamashii Nations acts like everyone is collecting all of their S.H. MonsterArts figures and that collectors could just reuse the beam effects for other figures.
Awesome to hear you're picking this guy up! To respond to your other point, yeah, they more than likely do. Just my issue is the price with no accessories. I could justify the price more had there been a beam effect. The most recent Godzilla figure I've seen from Tamashi that gave us a beam effect is the recent Godzilla x Kong one. There were so many previous Godzilla (i.e. Godzilla Minus One) releases, including this one, that just never got anything that could've gotten something extra to help justfiy the hefty prices
Great video fellow Godzilla fan, and by the way, this figure represents Godzilla's appearance in 1972's '' Godzilla vs. Gigan'' not his appearance in 1973's ''Godzilla vs. Megalon.'' No big deal, you simply got the films confused with each other.
Thanks for correcting me there! I think my brain broke when I was looking at the figures cause the film that everyone brings up is in 73' when Godzilla does his gravity defying dropkicks on Megalon, shakes hands with Jet Jaguar, & they do all of the other ridiculous (but hilarious) stuff. When I saw the Jet Jaguar figure announced, I just kinda tunnel-visioned and was like "oh all of these figures are from the 73' film" when it literally says 1972 on the boxes for both Godzilla & Gigan (reading helps XD) Beyond that, I am very excited to see Jet Jaguar finally being made & really hope to see Megalon soon. Been begging for a Megalon figure for the last couple years now lol
Yeah, I've been waiting for an SH Monsterarts Jet Jaguar myself. When I saw that it was going to get a release, I immediately pre-ordered one!@@MewMonster58
Yeah! Just look in the description and you can find links to the retailers I tend to buy from. It's sold out on one of the websites I linked, but Amazon should have it!
I upload all the episodes for any given week the week prior, so they're hidden because they're not meant to release yet. They'll be unhidden whenever I've scheduled to release them.
Great figure. I do wish it came with stickers instead of tampos for the toy stuff (so I could choose not to put them on). I prefer the colors and the metallic silver paint over the more toon accurate Prime but I am not a huge fan of the tampos. Still, no EX version in sight, so I grabbed a TC too.
Keep up the good work dude. Watching you hunting these monsters makes me a bit more confident about giving this game a try. Also wondering how easy it is to group up with others ? Do enough people still play this game ? And do people wanna group for "easier" hunts too ?
Thank you so much! That means a ton to me! Glad you've been watching! So grouping up with others is very easy, even randoms honestly. Since its resurgence, there are still a ton of people playing this game curently bc everyone is hyped for Monster Hunter Wilds being announced at the end of The Game Awards recently (2025 release). For a quick comparison, this game out 6 years ago at this point. Starfield, which came out a few months ago, is only at (at this point when I'm writing this) around ~5,700 concurrent palyers on steam. World has around ~17,000 or so. It was larger b4, but there's a reason there's the #ReturntoWorld. For a 6 year-old game, I'd say that's pretty damn good. In terms of "easier hunts" it depends. Like most games, this game has player scaling, so the more people that join any given hunt, the monster's health will be scaled accordingly, up to 4 players. For most regular monsters, and some of the big fellas, its usually fine and honestly, really fun with friends. However, there are a good chunk of these monsters players would find easier to solo just due to the health scaling.
I've got this game on Steam and I wanna play it but I kinda suck at it tbh 😅. Having to remember all the combos while fighting the monsters is not my strong point hehe.
@@MewMonster58 Jagras gear in general looks really good, Gunlance is my favorite, especially later on when it's the high rank version, second only to the Charge Blade.
I'd like to apologize for how this looks on camera. When I edited this, I tried to do my best to make Blue-Eyes stand out from the background, but in turn, looks like I did the opposite. I will do my best to not let this happen again. Still learning editing as a whole so please forgive me. Hope you all still enjoy the video though! - MM58
Great figure bro i just got my 3 today i say 3 of them because want thudercracker and SkyWarp but their my stand ins for the gamer edition Seekers until hasbro releases skywarp and Tc
Yeah! Hands down I think the best Gamer Edition figure in the line so far I think it's pretty much (un)confirmed that we're going to be getting Skywarp and Thundercracker. Easy repaints for them, but I do hope they might give them some unque accessories so there's some distinction besides the paint
@MewMonster58 yeah me too I don't understand the hate on that chest it's not that bad in hand either I feel that Optimus Prime and Screamer are great figures in their own way and I also don't understand why people really the hate gamer Edition line it's awesome barricade while nice to finally have him he's the only one who I'd say is bad
I got my MS-02EX directly from Magic Square. No issues. The tanks need to be pointed down on the legs, it's accurate and it also locks the leg panels shut. MS-02 is pretty damn good for the price. I also have the V3 MP44 KO, and it's nice as well. mS is the better transformation, and I think MP44 has very slight bot mode proportion advantages, at the cost of him being a mess to transform. Both just crap all over MP10 these days. But I still think MP10 has the best alt mode of them all. ShowZ still has MP44 KOs for 80 bucks. It's v3 with the smaller backpack and it's very good.
Yeah, I don't deny getting directly from Magic Square is perfectly fine (as I address that in the comment above), just it getting lost in the mail gave me a mini ptsd about it so I didn't wanna risk it happening again, so I just ended up getting it from a third party I've bought from before. Also, thank you for informing me about those tanks, the instructions were a bit hard to follow for me (might've also just slipped my mind, idk lol). I absolutely agree MS-02 is great for the price. MP44 is good, but a pain to transform from what I've seen, and also ridiculously expensive. And about MP10, yeah, its really old at this point but since I don't collect MP stuff at all anymore, its the only comparison I had lmao. Even with the third party stuff, the mainline stuff from Hasbro gives me what I want while taking up much less space. I also haven't bought from ShowZ, which is why I don't personally link any of their stuff. I've heard they're good but I don't want to link a retailer that I haven't personally experienced consistently over time. Not to say they're bad at all tho.
@MewMonster58 showZ takes awhile shipping from CHNA but they're amazing. Just have to be prepared to work your way through their protective packaging😅. Point system has literally saved me thousands and is worth the optional yearly fee of $10.
Hey all, there was one thing I wanted to address that didn't end up in the video: If you buy directly from Magic Square, its genuinely about $100 cheaper than TFSource. That is a substantial difference, and I'm much more likely to reccomend it at retail rather than the markup on TFSource. I do still reccomend it regardless, but I can understand someone not feeling its worth the $200+. Plus, das a lot of money. The reason I'm mentioning this is bc when I initially tried to order the cartoon accurate version of Light of Peace a year or two ago (Direct from Magic Square), mine got lost in shipping and then they sold out before it got solved. While I understand that it wasn't MS's fault, & in addtion, they issued me a full refund (which shows that they're extremely fair with their business), it still left a sour taste in my mouth which is why I went to TFSource instead since I've had nothing but good experiences with their preorder system and shipping (despite the higher than I'd like prices) That's why I ended up linking both TF Source & Magic Square in the description despite not mentioning buying direct from MS in the acutal video. Slipped my mind completely & ended up remembering you could do that when I was tracking down the links for you guys to the different retailers you could buy it from online. Thanks for reading! - MM58 <3
Yeah, I dont disagree with you which is why I addressed it in the video. I personally still reccomend it bc if you wanted to get the old figure, it was near $150. At least here you're not paying for the scalper prices although I think $80 would've been reasonable. As someone who never was able to get the original, this is much more reasonable for me than paying scalper.
This ultramagnus is practically perfect, he looks like he walked out of the TV, His scale is perfect because he is a transport vehicle, designed to hold 3 or 4 autobots, in the show like other bots his size varied. But just like the Jetfire figure this is a mainline that can actually compete against a masterpiece, so thats a win in my Book. I love Magnus and the Dinobots near perfect figures .
