Very nice! I just bought a GX460 and I'm looking into ideas for some weekend overlanding. I live in Northern AZ so there's tons of places to camp! Do you have an affiliate link for the RTT?
Travis - excellent beginner overview and great things to keep in mind for everyone! Much appreciated that you put this out and look forward to working with you again for another trip!! S&D Hybrid trip Aug '23.
this is my dream setup! how did u find installing it ? i see u had to remove the stock railing system ? im looking to do the same as you and wondering if i need anything extra to install one?
Hey you for sure need to remove the stock rack. I was using a system from K9 but if I were to do it again I would do something with Front Runner. On my 4Runners we just install the Front Runner side rails (not the platform) and then use 5 Alu-Cab load bars.
I noticed that you have the pillows in the wedge of the camper. Is that how you sleep, and is sleeping with head in claustrophobic, is their room to move around? Thanks Jeff
Did you build the kitchen/galley from scratch? Or something pre-fabbed that you modified? Thinking of something similar in my canopy camper. Nice build!
The BEST rentals you can get in Colorado!!! I came from Florida and drove there and he met us on the weekend and was SUPER nice. We are planning another trip this year and more to come with them. The #1 Place to rent a 4x4 camper no doubt. I tell everyone about this place and that they need to give it a try.
Hey Jack, we did some videos on that base plate on our instagram page. Check them out here and click the "Tundra Build" icon towards the top. instagram.com/titusadventureco/ Enjoy the camper!
I’m think about renting this van this coming summer. Does this vehicle have solar for the fridge? And if not, how long does the fridge work without a power connection?
Wow what an awesome vehicle to rent! Wish this kind of setup/rental was in my area. I noticed that inside the truck bed you have added supports for the ARE shell and the weight above. Is this support system something that came with the shell or did you add them yourself separately? If you added them what company/brand are you using? Any information would be appreciated. I hope your business is doing well and encouraging people to enjoy the outdoors.
Hey thanks! We are using the Heavy Duty ARE topper (see link below) that comes with that aluminum frame. There are 4 posts that connect to the frame and come through the fiberglass. Next time you are in Colorado come rent Patsy and check it out! www.4are.com/product/hd/
