Coach Tom spends his days devoted to furthering his art by teaching and studying Brazilian Jiu Jitsu full time from dusk til dawn! As a college graduate with high academic credentials, Coach Tom continues his commitment to excellence by teaching Jiu Jitsu to students worldwide.

Nice review of kesa gatame. I saw Barnett's sub on lister a few days ago. I usually finish that choke not even clasping my hands, just belly down and walk towards north south. I'll have to try this version. Thanks

I think it is funny how people think the term sensei is strange even though it just means teacher...being called professor is equally strange because that implies more of an academic role as a teacher at a university. Beats me.
Hey coach, curious if you feel the same way about these techniques 6 years later? Have you found much of this obsolete with the advancements of your own game along with Jiu jitsu as an entity? I really like to hear what coaches feel about their techniques years later. Thanks!
