HELLO MY FRIEND, NEW FRIEND HERE, MY DEAR DADDY, LOVED HIS BIKES, S O, ANY BIKE, HOLDS A PLACE, IN MY HEART, ALTHOUGH, I HAVE TO SAY, A LITTLE WORRIED, ABOUT, THE WORDING, ON YOUR POSTER!!!!! ESPECIALLY, GIVEN RECENT EVENTS, IT WOULD SEEM, E V E R Y W H E R E, SOME PEOPLE, COULD, SEE THAT, A S, AN INVITATION, T O, CAUSE TROUBLE????? STAY SAFE OUT THERE, CLUNK CLICK, THINK TRUCK❤😊😊😊😊❤
Thanks Rob, we were out in the afternoon so only had a couple of hours, didn’t have time to have a good look at them so got photos to view later. 2 years ago it was similar weather after record breaking heatwave. Bit warmer than your recent caravan trip!
Hundreds there, trying to find more scooter groups to share on as I’m mostly just on Facebook groups of N Derbys, N Notts & S Yorks. Any sharing appreciated
Aye, I was there. Good mid-winter show. I spent ages talking to the scooter people about the "why's n wherefores" of scooter ownership! I've left a comment on your other channel, also ask what scooter you are running for the ride videos. Cheers, k.
There was threat of rain from about 2 hours in, obviously put I lot off. Disappointing tat both this and Renishaw Hall were hit by weather after big heatwaves at both last year
Love looking at the classics Andy especially the 70’s & 80’s cars. Weather was kind to the show, no rain and not too hot. Thanks for sharing Cheers, Rob 👍
The forecast of rain put a lot off and only about half the usual number of vehicles were there. Also missed Eckington (Renishaw Hall) this year as it rained for much of the day though I was told it turned nice later and was quite busy. Contrast from last year with sweltering heat for both
the GSXR50 is a little bit special! Only saw this advertised this morning when I was about to head out elsewhere otherwise would of had a ride up there on my CG125 hopefully get my Little Dax clone on the road soon!
Great video & fantastic looking Scooters 👍🏻 I was out on a rally the other week there, i have a Scomadi TT which in my opinion is very nice indeed.. however i could not help feel out of place as some scooter owners have an attitude toward anything that is not a Lambretta or Vespa scooter !!! Why is this ?? Made me feel out of place like i was inferior or something!!.. What are your thoughts on this situation please ?!
Purists will never accept automatic scooters or anything more modern than the 1990s. That's not your problem though. Enjoy your scooter for what it is and the fact there are hundreds of scomadi, alloy etc on every rally....and I'm a purist but I don't care what someone else rides. Enjoy it
Past loads of scooters coming from Macclesfield towards Knutsford on Sunday. Was this the same event? The Landlord at my local in Matlock is selling his 150cc Vespa, not sure of the year. It will need recommissioning Is this something your group of friends would be interested in?
It’s a challenge to get non copyright music as it’s easy to get caught out and end up with parts muted. Some of my scooter shoe ones have ska but these are from a section allied alternative & punks. Tend to use more relaxing stuff on my other channel (Derbyshire Rural Rider)
I don’t have a scooter nor have I ever owned one, but love seeing all things two wheeled. Popped over to SkegVegas the Saturday before last with 3 others for fish n chips - 200 mile round trip from Matlock 🍟🎣 Have you any idea how many scooters were there? They must have come from all over country 😮
Just the front bit resembled Matlock Bath on Beat The Bikers Sunday so I was disappointed by the small amount on the rideout, I heard comments about confusion over start time. Of course though many were in the town from Friday to Monday compared with BTB at Matlock Bath being little over an hour before moving to a Cromford Meadows (or Whitworth Park last year). Hard to judge numbers at Skeg as it was well spread out.
A great day, met up with some old biker mates. Thanks ,you took a lovely shot of my Ariel arrow in the show. Finished the day off with a ride through Matlock bath.
