i saw you offer the brackets to put the 14-18 center console into the 07-13 GMC or silverado, says back ordered. any idea when they will be instock, got a full center console for free and want to mount it into my 2013 GMC Sierra. thanks

OBS seat belt to the new seat buckle. 2007-2013 seats used 2 different style buckles. one type works perfect the other you have to hold button down when putting in clip.
You should make or partner with someone to make a wiring harness to use the additions on the gen 5 with the obs. Overall really great products and video explanations!
So I have a 96 yukon 4dr. and I found a set of gmt800 leather seats to swap into it. I got the fronts in, however my question is for the rear seat brackets. Do you guys produce any adapting brackets to fit the GMT800 rears to the GMT400 rear in the 4 door application?? I see on the site that you guys have them for single, ext, crew cabs and TWO door tahoes and yukons, But I need some for the FOUR door! Thanks
Would you sleep on a 30 year old bed? Newer seats are designed with ergonomics in mind to reduce back fatigue and better posture. Some of the newer trucks these seats come from cost $100k and I doubt any owners would pay that amount with old seat technology. Regardless of the condition, original OBS 30yr old broke down foam may seem cushy or comfortable until you actually ride in a new seat on a long road trip. Also from a hygienic standpoint, old seats are a bacteria breading ground.
@@OBSOutpost odd.... everyone who uses the "butt test" still thinks these OBS seats are more comfortable yes, newer seats are sportier and made with new tech. But new isn't always better i love the product... just can't believe someone ripped out good cloth seats. Probably the most sought after used part for a OBS truck
For single cab guys I just installed the jump seat and the nut plates aren’t sitting flush on the bottom ended up getting nuts, lock washers, and flat washers. Just a heads up on what i experienced.
Im 14 and i got my first truck from a friend of my dads for free it doesnt run or anything but my dad said we would get it fixed and all i have to worry about is the inside. The inside of the truck smells terrible so i want to replace the seats to get rid of some smell and to make it look better im wondering if this set would work in a 1998 chevy s10
Hi can you tell me if you know I have a 1997 Tahoe that I am going from a 60/40 seat to bucket’s that I got from a downer Tahoe so the iner track has no floor studs . So do I have to drill holes on the floor? Thanks 🙏
Just did an install with these brackets. I installed new carpet at the same time, the carpet was plush with mass backing and jute. I added another layer of jute beneath. My truck also has rear floor vents. Fitment of the brackets were off by a bit, but not insurmountable. 1) my thick carpet caused a problem with starting the front bolt on the passenger side inner bracket. This was solved with a longer bolt to start it and then replacing it once both front and rear bolts were sunk. 2) on the same passenger side inner bracket, seemingly unrelated to the carpet thickness, the rear gusset on the bracket interferes with the floor vent cover. This was solved by removing the cover and leaving the vent open. I am sightless disappointed that I didn’t realize this earlier because the carpet hole could have been cut tighter around the vent. These are my install tips.

I do disclose in the ad: Please note that brackets may interfere with the floor heat vent duct on trucks & SUVs equipped with this and may need to be modified with a heat gun to allow clearance.The GEN 3 are 15.5" wide compared to the factory seat frame at 13.5". Typically keeping the floor duct with some mods is not an issue with GEN 3 unless there is a lot of carpet padding then that needs to be removed to allow clearance. I go over the duct deeper on the GEN 5 video which is a problem because the GEN 5 are 17.5" wide and the duct needs to be cut or removed. .

@@AngryDogPerformance No brackets needed for the 2nd row on Suburban. You will need to get a piece of tubing for the rear to make it level and then just drill new holes once you get the seats squared up. This is for 2007-13 2nd row captains 2015-2020 are flat and dont need any rear riser. I have not tried doing a bench but it should mount he same way

I just bought a 2000 z71 Tahoe. Its a 2000 but a gmt400 with the 5.7 and square body. Would 99-00 gmt800 seats bolt right up because its the same year or would i still have to modify it with the brackets because of the different body style? Really glad I found this channel! Luv the Tahoe but not a huge fan of the seats. Also what Gen do you recommend for someone that likes to sit/feel kinda lower? The OBS seats make me feel like I'm sitting to high.
The new rear seat video will be on how to add buckets and 2014-2018 DBL cab rear seat swap. The 2019+ rear seats wont work in OBS truck without a full custom fabrication. There is no frame work on the back cushion, so to install the back seat would require welded in supports. You can check with local shops in your area but it is a big job to recreate all the mounting points especially the ones that the head rest will lock into and wont be cheap. I had one customer cut the back wall off a 2020 crew cab and weld it on in 97 EXT Cab truck, that was probably a more efficient way to mount the seat than to fabricate everything by hand. Ill be showing some of this in the video and go over why the 2019+ rear wont work.
