@@skinz987 .... sounded like You had a good hold of it. I have a 🍋 drop....My kids Xperiment more with it than I do...but occasionally I go down the 🐰hole.... again this piece sounded Great!! 🍺
@@jtrace-444 I tend to make leads with the granular stuff. Works well if you can find a sweet spot, but yeah you can spend a good amount of time messing about. I have a 0101 Blue box that I use for recording some times if I make a track I want to export for DJ purposes.
@@Heavycap Sonicware makes some really interesting gear. I end up getting a lot of their stuff as the sounds just happen to be what I am looking for. Keep up the good work!
@@lewisskolnick4015 Thank you! I used a pedal board for all the mini synths and just swap gear in and out as desired. Lack of space is always an issue. Ha ha ha. Thanks for listening!

Dirty Drums from the Roland, Paired with Dirty Bass from the B-1. Threw in some cowbell because reasons....ha ha. Glad you enjoyed. Looking forward to hearing that Roland get put to work!
I think i might join the club :) they just dropped price and one or 2 second hand available. After borrowing 6s im sold and don't want to hand it back 😆
“Acoustic” electronic music… so cool to focus on the live production it’s really cool to see how it all comes together. That ambient machine is dope. Nice work dog
Yes it does. People are sleeping on that UNO Pro - the built in effects are next level... especially that shimmer. That's what gives that lead the angelic aftertone
@@jtrace-444 Its probably the easiest synth I have ever used. Sounds good too for those acid sounds. Just wish the step sequencer was a bit longer, but it's the same for all the 303 clones, just about.
OOooH YEAHHhh ...... The BEAUTIFUL 909... My fave Sounding Roland kit ......i have decided to NOT invest in TR-8 Just yet as it will Definatly couse problems with my worsening ADHD , as it will give me to many options in progression along with my other Drum machines , im Really struggling with finishing tracks at the moment as i keep getting distracted by new sounds that make me start from scretch again ,. meaning baisically ive TONS Of half finished tracks ive made in the past 3 weeks but none to release
@@jaffajenkins I feel ya. That's why I have been doing these improv things where I put short patterns down then attempt to tie them together. Not serious production, but figuring out what to take to an upcoming event.
@@skinz987 interesting, taking the RCA route into a mixer. "virtual audio cable?" I'm not sure I know of such a thing. You mean in the computer? What is OBS.
@@argiletonne I have a cheapo sub-mixer that I route the synths into, then RCA into the Reloop Mixon 8 controller. I use Channel 4 on the reloop for Synths. This then goes through Serato DJ. I use OBS, a freeware video recording program for recording video. In order to get the sounds from Serato to OBS in realtime, I use a virtual patch cables, which are software based. Serato DJ has instructions to make this work. Sounds good though.
Hi, I think there is an issue/bug. At least with mine. (?) Of any presets when I press bassline button the sound changes. That is ok. But then I press bassline again to quit and go back to the original preset and the sound does not go back. I get always a kinda weak and more quiet sound of the original preset. Why is that? How to solve this? Are you guys have the same issue? I want to get back the original preset sound when I quit the bassline effect. Do you also have this issue? Thx
@@Molluszk if you hit the bassline button it goes back to the original preset settings that were saved, if that makes sense. Meaning any adjustment made before the preset are reset. That may be why it sounds "softer".
That is correct, I use the TR-8S as the midi master, with a MIDI hub hidden behind the wall of mini synths. The main reason for this is that the TR-8S integrates with Serato DJ, so I can add all the toys to a DJ set, if desired.
@@AbominusRules You can absolutely. Though sample editing is limited (read a pain). That said, if you are loading one-shots - its a non issue. But it already has all the Roland greats installed, so there is that.
@@skinz987 yeah. i would only load in one-shot samples of kicks/snares etc. i mainly do industrial/ebm music, so i need punchy drum hits. its something the Electribe 2 lacks. all of the drum samples on the E2 are just awful.
The ambient 0 is in a different league in sounds than the VS. The VS is great for synthwave and cheesy 80s sounds. Can't hold a candle to the Ambient 0, in my humble opinion for ambient and pads. All depends what sounds you are going for.
OOooH MAAaaN ..😮....🎉.. I've just scrapped enough $$ for a 2nd hand TR.8 BUT...NOW..😮.. I'm immensely conflicted again whether to go for the TR8S 🎉 .. I've held back on Both for Years as I have a certain style of drum sequencing that would be derailled by these Drum machines 😢 The TR8S Sounds So Good but is basically a Groovebox in itself 🎉 Great Jam man 👨 jaffa Jenkins 😊
The screen on the TR-8S is worth the extra cost, though the S stands for samples and I do add them, but I more use the Novation for that role. I just love the Roland drum sounds and this has pretty much all of them. That said, it is kinda a groovebox, but less so than you would think. The biggest advantage is the instant access to 12 channels. I load them with mostly drums kicks and a variety of highs. This makes one of the hardest things to do in Dawless jamming - buildups and break downs - much much more fluid and easy. That is why I love it and it takes primary duty on the drums.
@@hazysativa3045 it makes it much easier in a live setting, as you can scroll and select exactly what you want. If you are at home and preset it, yep it's not essential.

@@enochroot9438 Not sure if you have used Sonicware stuff before, but they can be a bit of a nightmare to program. This is the exception. Super easy and sounds like a dream. Awesome piece of kit.
Thank you! Its rather simplistic, but I am trying to get a handle on that DB-01. Its a bit more agressive than I thought...even though that's why I chose it. 😅
It is certainly a well made piece of kit. I wanted to test it out with a simple bass pattern, but I will certainly explore its capabilities more in the future.
OOooH !!!!😮😮 I Missed This one 1⃣, Setup Looks Very similar to mine with my mc 707 in your TR8s,s Place ❤😊 The sh101s another synth i can't believe i haven't got as ive been so close to buying one on so many occasions but the mc 707s got a whole sh101 patch section with Very convincing sound 🔊 WICKED JAM Dude, jaffa
I actually ordered a Manther from Perfect Circut during their last sale, but it showed up busted. I returned it and grabbed the Uno and I have to say...I am throughly impressed with the range of sounds on this thing. Also the sequencer is fantastic and easy, but has slides and accents like a 303. Loving it so far.
