You can sew the sole of any boot. It isnt a matter of structure, its the manufacturer cheaping out and using glue. Dont lie to people.

I've got a pair of Nike's that have been repaired multiple times in the last ten years. When i find a pair that fits just right, you keep them. Especially being a size 16/17 in mens.
