I'm a JSV holder, mate. I received a job offer through Hays with a Blue Card category salary. Will there be any issues in converting my visa to a Blue Card since my job is under Hays?

Hello, thank you so much for the video, it was really informativ and cleared up some questions. I am from Germany and my partner (not married) is looking to come to Germany to work and settle down. He is originally from South Korea and got his "Bachelor of Arts in Statistics" at the University of Minnesota, USA and is currently working full time in the US, while being a part-time student at Georgia Tech for his "Master of Science in Analytics" (online). I've searched on so many websites and watched a lot of videos and would like to make sure that he can get enough points for the Chanzenkarte. He has 2 years of work experience since getting his Bachelors Degree and is fluent in English (due to uni). He is 28 years old and started learning German. He wants to take a German Test in April for either the A2 or B1 level, depends. Also, I'm not sure, whether Data Analyst is a profession and would get him 4 points, probably not, right? And then I have one more question regarding the financial statement. He has to proof that he has 11.208€ or that he has a (part-time) job in Germany to secure his stay? Would a letter from me work too that I can support him financially? Thank you in advance and great Video!

How can we validate our education and experience in Germany? For e.g. skill assessment in Australia maps foreign experience and education. What would be the process in Germany for it?
@justgermany
@justgermany 4 месяца назад
Using Anabin database, you can validate your education. But skill will be accessed directly by the agency of the German embassy. The process is yet to be made clear on this..

Hi... Thank you so much for the explanation! Can you please tell me: 1. What all documents will be needing as proof for Education, Experience and Language proficiency. 2. If we end up getting a full time job offer, then, can we apply for work visa from our end or the company has to do it? (Trying to understand whether it makes any difference for companies, in hiring a person with Oppotunity Card and any other person who's locally available)
@justgermany
@justgermany 4 месяца назад
Hi, Answers are here: 1. Education certificates, experience certificates from employer. 2. You can apply.. Employer need not do it and most of the Employers do not take care of this process as in germany it is easy and can be directly applied by the candidate. Some employers help in this process. If you need personal consultation. Book an appointment here: calendly.com/justgermany/job-search-in-germany-personal-consultation

Yes. I guess the minimum amount will be declared soon. The current assumption is six months of expenses which might come around 6000 to 10000 euros. But it could be less as well as you are allowed for part time from day one.

Yes. But not as a dependent. She should also apply for Chancenkarze visa. If she is eligible both of you will get one extra point for each other. If you want to bring your wife as dependent then you should show constant earnings which is only possible with a job

@justgermany 6 месяцев назад
Hi Ricardo, I think you are asking about Knowledge of German. Please note that this visa does not insist on knowing German. But for sure you will add more points if you have AI, A2, B1 levels respectively. With regards to English, you should think of having B2 level to have good score.

Hi Thanks for detailed explanation. I am getting 9 points(without IELTS). Do I still need to sit for IELTS? How its gonna work? For Higher points chances more or its all same once you have 6? Or is it First come First server who score 6 or above?
@justgermany
@justgermany 6 месяцев назад
If you are getting 9 points then should be good. Germany never insisted on IELTS for job visas s they themselves are not English speakers. It is yet to be clarified if you get an advantage for more point. But the whole point of point system is to weigh the qualifications. So surely there will be preferences.

@justgermany
@justgermany 6 месяцев назад
It is not yet stated in official documents. But in general you need to have at least 6 months of finances to survive in you bank account. This comes to 6000 to 10000 euros when we look at the average expense per year. So, Preparing atleast 6000 Euros will be highly recommendable to plan for the visa.

It varies when you have family and number of kids. But it is a huge misconception outside that 40 percentage of salary is pulled away. But your medical insurance for complete family is covered, pension is covered, free school education for kids and the job security fee is also covered in that tax money. If one loses job, govt will pay 67% of salary for one year till you find your job again. That’s the difference from other countries. That’s why most of employees have good sleep at night.
