caught ya on the replay. nice new military unit for sure, dining car looks awesome, time to get the plaster cloth out for foam hill.. then just take a paint brush to get it all wet. see ya next time 20 likes when I hit it
@KandRCustomModels haha i knew someone would point that out. That was another train that was running on the layout behind me. My CP 7020 is a silent runner.
@ronaldrondeau7870 so far i have 7010 in heritage paint and this 7020. 7023 is on the way as we speak so I'll still need the other three to have the full set. Maybe one day.
Awesome video! that layout looks incredible. and it's nice to see a model of cp 7020 leading (I did said three years ago 7020 was in the top 3 of the cp military units units I like). I just think the 7020 has taking the no. 1 spot now (7022 was the no. 1 spot but I decided to change it to the 7020). part of why is that I've had family serviced in the army and I just think 7020 has a special meaning. so that's why I decided to have the 7020 as the no. 1 favorite. great video

Wow 98 looks great looking. i say a lot better than what it looked like originally. now i hope it'll stay like this permanently (we'll just see from there).
gorgeous model, though i noticed something you should fix at 4:47 the valve gear link is mounted too low, it should be fitted to the middle like the engineers side is.
@KeithRivers-zb4qh as started in the video, the truck is acting a fire protection following the train incase any come up from the sparks coming from the stacks.
@Smashley-Gon-Bad lol!!! I will admit this one doesn't have the best one. I'd like to put a custom sound file on it eventually but that's a project for another day.

@@bassicallydoug hey Doug good to hear from you! The steam engine is made by Rapido Trains Inc. and has great sound with the ESU decoder onboard. The Union Pacific DDA40X 6900 is a fantasy unit I recently reviewed on the channel. I recommend watching that video to see the story on that unit.
I got my Phase IV model and I love it! I wish I could've gotten more than just the one (Including the Phase VI and Midnight Blue ones) Strangely, the person I bought mine from had it programmed to its road number (#24) and it won't reset back to 3.
Great review. it is a nice model athearn has done of the 108. the 108 grew on me after a long while (thought the Pepsi can unit remains my most favorite of the 50th anniversary units). and it is intresting that they've not done any of the metra north heritage units yet. since they are p42's. my favorite one has to be the new york central unit. (that is just probablythe coolest one they did). thoughi do like the conrail and the penn central units (they're really different from what cr and pn are known for in terms of paint schemes). and pf course the 40th anniversary unit and the recent unit honoringmetra north employees. (they might do those in the future). but we'll see on that. great video.

Great video nice catch with the csx georgia railroad heritage unit. (don't know much about the railroad but the unit is sharp looking). they're nearly close of finishing their heritage units. (the csx equipment update page shared concept art of the next units). I'm still waiting till they come out with a clinchfiled unit (I've also hope they'll do one for the west point route as it's a small line that's not mentioned as much so i hope they do that).
