That's one of the things i love about this ending: it pulls the "oh it's all a simulation" card, but instead of being totally nihilistic about it, it's portrayed as an act of love. It isn't "it's a simulation and so nothing matters", but "it's a simulation because it all mattered so much that it was worth doing it all over again"

Not a good show. Not. The whole point is revenge against the 4 white men in Japan at the time who could have possibly been her father, so she wants to kill all 4 of them to be sure Why? Because they made her a monster, what does that even mean? She has Japanese and white ancestry, and the racist-ass Japan condemns her for it Japanese society therefore is the problem, the enemy, if she doesn't want to be treated as inferior, she can just kill herself, which is extremely understandable to the point of ubiquity in Japanese culture, or just leave Japan Literally living anywhere else takes care of her problem without the need for impossible amounts of difficulty and bloodshed
1. Because she is part of Japanese culture i think she believes herself inferior and wants to punish those who prevented her from being normal.
