@scalemountainRc team driver. This channel is mostly Rc crawling with occasional bashing and full size 1:1 offroading. I love the Rc hobby and offroading in general
@tylerallen8802 538's and yeah I believe I'd go that route. The jeep had the gears and axles when I purchased it. Only thing it needs is the d300 tcase it came with installed and it'd be great. It really needs it right now. It's running the stock np231 and in tight spots it struggles.
@courtneykoecher8789 you'll use the stock Ryft driveshafts with stock Axial Capra outputs on transmission side, front and rear. They dolt directly to Ryft driveshafts.
@dacountryone The blue one is a NordicCrawl Dragon and the Capra cage is a IERC Merge Empire chassis. I really need to do a build breakdown of them, been slacking on the Rc content ☹️
@@Hardlines_FullsendRc I definitely understand bro,but those are some sick rigs. But I can't wait to see you ripping that classic 250r,I had the 250r 3wheeler.
@@Hardlines_FullsendRc ok thanks. I built a Ryft kit thinking I wanted to try something faster, but never finished it. I wanna try to turn it into a crawler instead now.
@offroad1911 they make awesome crawlers in my opinion. Takes some time and patience to get them setup correctly but once you get it they will hang with any normal 1/10th crawler and pull lines they can't touch.
@@Hardlines_FullsendRc But brother, seriously your crawling videos on the hard lines are some of the best I have seen, when you find yourself all cramped and tilted watching someone slowly trying to get traction in a trail, you know the itch got you. Thanks for sharing the fun of this hobby, many hugs from Germany.
@reezoshideout Thanks man appreciate it. I'm trying to get back into the groove of filming things with the Rc's. I'll be honest I've kinda lost a little bit of that fire with them lol still love them but just been more focused on my Jeep and truck lately lol
@@Hardlines_FullsendRc I appreciate your honesty, and by all means you must not feel like "you must send us videos". It's all good, this YT life erodes a lot and makes us think we have to keep up with something once we have it rolling. It's toxic sometimes, so just know that it's all good, not everything in life has to be filmed to exist. Enjoy your life, your wrenches, your Jeep and truck and all the rest, I am grateful for the good fun and I am happy to know you are having a good one. I sound very poetic but I am usually just a broken person, like many. So if I say so, you can be sure it's the truth ;)
I love that setup in my ryft i have the same trans also the 2300kv fusion ...i run a ecopower 927 micro servo in mine works great no issues at all ....great content brotha 👍
Great build man! Ive recently got a stock ryft which i plan to convert into a crawler. Ive seen the vitafon portals which specifically say they should be installed on vitafon axels. In your opinion, do the vitafon axel design vary from the stock axels apart from the material? Thank you
Thanks for your feedback, much appreciated. I think so too but they (vitavon) make it sound like you need proprietary axels to use the portals 😅 anyway there’s only one way to find out… pull the trigger on those portals and pray to the rc gods they fit the stock axels 😇
So the rear bottom from center eye to center eye is 4 7/8" the actual rink is 100mm club5 from Ebay and the front lovers are club5 103mm. The upper links Front and rear I believe are stock Ryft. But it's been a while since I built this thing so could be wrong on the upper links but they look like stock Ryft.
Is that a wraith motor and trans because I'm building a bomber /wraith/ ryft ? Yeah I know I just wanna use a ryft motor on a wraith trans any imput would be great.
Lol yeah they were on the axles when I purchased them and just have been running them since. They are actually decent servos, just loud. I haven't had any problems with them and they are 2 years old now and still going strong.
