The Horse Player NOW RU-vid channel will provide big event previews and reviews, as well as tools for learning the nuisances of racing and handicapping.
Mate it's w 6 times, we will win when we want. Racing Its full of thieves and crooks nothing to do with form. Take up fishing. B happy no stress no con men no thieves. Dandelion.
A day at the races hanging out with Jeremy (east coast) or Jeff (West Coast) would be an absolute treat! Your opinions and how you arrived at your selections is priceless. Thanks for your insights and sharing your insights. 5mins. from Los Alamitos😎
Jeff Makes a Great Point About How so Many Analysts Disliked Mindframe and Chucked Him off The Board...This Was VERY Strange to Me Considering What We Witnessed in Those 2 Races...Comparing Sierra Leone to Easy Goer Was Silly Though...EG Had a Diff Running Style and Was MUCH Better Than SL and Would Have Beaten Him Like a 5K Claimer From Bluegrass Downs
Irad Already Knows He is Winning The Belmont...He Knows What He Has Underneath Him...Seems Like Rest of Racing World is Pretending Mindframe is Not Who He is (Probably Cause Many Dislike Repole)...Wake up and Open Your Eyes Folks...Mindframe Should be 3-5 Odds
Adare Manor Spends Her Career Beating up on Mediocre 4 Horse California Fields With Great Trips...She Does Not Even Sniff The Board Against Legit Fields Away From Cali
City of Troy is now 2/1 Got 5/1 straight after the poor guineas run. I never hear a bullish Aiden and took note of his view Looks like a decent day today, occasional small shower but mostly sun Saturday looks set fair for all, a bit of rain on far south coast rest in sunshine Good luck
Wide open Preakness, my heart is one place, my question is can Frankie go wire to wire? ALL is a viable choice. The race is full of question marks, watch and Enjoy it, so want to keep tradition alive with the jewels of the triple crown and its history alive and well. You guys certainly do your homework and always a pleasure to get your opinions. am listening and combo with my picks, outcomes vary but still #1 wagering agenda. Good luck and Enjoy the weekend races! DC 😎🐎♿
into the great wide open... fever spike ,too fast a 6 furlong workout with obvious favorite, BB I am sorry for Jimmy's phone call however Saratoga and Belmont Stakes at 1 1/4 is a nice future! Never glad to see any colt get ill. Meanwhile, Imagination and Frankie will go out to lead then different track surface may slow the speed and who knows, if there is a closer finish than Derby 150, take me to cardiac ward LOL. As a Preakness follower it appears very competitive, biased for triple crown possibility...ENJOY! DC
Jeremy Like Many Other Handicappers are PRETENDING That Tyler G & Sierra Leone Absolutely MAULED!!!! Forever Young and His Jock...Jeremey PRETENDING Tyler G Hit Other Jock Over Head With a SLEDGEHAMMER in Stretch...Grow up Jeremey...You Know This Was NOT Deserving of a DQ...Stop Copying The Whiners Jeremy
Knightsbridge has an injury and that is why he did not run in the Pat Day Mile on the Kentucky Derby undercard. He is out of action through the summer according to his trainer Bill Mott.
Saw Fierceness hop when the gate opened. Knew race was over for him (and a hunk of my money) at that point. Wish there was a camera like those in NY and FL that show a close up of the start that might have shown why it happened. Very sharp ride by BJ to grab CD's infamous golden rail - a track feature that has destroyed many bettor fortunes. Never know who'll be in position for that move. Gaff deserves a three month suspension and stewards' status reduced to mucking out barns. Otherwise, typical great analysis by Jeff and JP. Wouldn't touch a race without them.
Fierceness did show up. From 16 he smoothly went to the front and travelled in the third path attending a pace too fast for the air and track conditions. By the 16th pole JV sensing Fierceness was spent did not ask him to drain his mitochondria to complete depletion. The three who did do that will need lengthy recovery or may never be the same; except for Forever Young who would have won by an open length but for Browns paddling exhausted uncontrollable entry. Forever Young has a history of rapid recovery and may have been a Triple Crown winner after which American betting pools might have gained more and more foreign participation. American race conduct, officiating, and post race reporting are in disgrace and discredit.
Fierceness looks like a sprinter, What a DERBY 150! put Mystic Dan in for Dan Schockley memory and was overwhelmed with OAKS/DERBY McPeek crew dd. Thought payout was short but hey a W is a W! you guys are grear, keep it up! DC
J&J, Just for you. Listed below are the starting odds and finishing positions for post time favorites in the last 5 renewals of the KD. 2023 - Anel Of Empire (1/1)-Brad Cox; finished 3rd with an incident free trip. 2022 - Epicenter (1/1) - S. Asmussen; finished 2nd with an incident free trip. 2021 - Essential Quality 3/2) Brad Cox; finished 4th with a troubled/wide trip. 2020 - Tiz The Law (1/2) B, Tagg; finished 2nd with an incident free trip. 2019 - Improbable (1/1) Bb; finished 5th with an incident free trip. The above post time favorites entered he KD with significantly better resumes than Fierceness the expected post time favorite for the 2024 renewal of the KD. Four were representatives of top 5 barns. Angel Of Empire - Won 2 and finished 2nd in 3 KD preps as a 3YO. Never beaten 20L in any start prior to the KD. Epicenter - Was virtually untouchable after his narrow defeat in LaComte. Entered the KD off a NTR in the LA Derby. His winning time (1:54.38) was good enough to win 13 of the last 16 Preakness. Never beaten 20L in any start prior to the KD. Essential Quality - Like Fierceness won the BCJ and was also Champion 2YO. He entered the KD undefeated in 5 starts that included two 3YO KD preps. Never beaten 20L in any start prior to the KD. TizThe Law - Entered the KD with 6 wins from 7 starts. His winning time in the Travers (2;00.95) was good enough to win 20 of the last 22 renewals of the KD. Never beaten 20L in any start prior to the KD. Improbable - Entered the KD with 3 wins & two 2nd place finishes from 5 starts. He inherited the post time KD favoritisms due the scratch of ML favorite Omaha Beach to whom he finished 2nd in the A K Derby.. Never beaten 20L in any start prior to the KD. Given the above, Fierceness' resume and that of his trainer. Shouldn't extreme caution be exercised in elevating him to post time favorite?
Betting him like he can't lose in the derby? Bombed in 2 of 5 races, not sure he gets the distance, may be 3/4 wide both turns, likely regress 5 to 8 beyer pts off the 110 from FL derby, pace may heat up. All reasons he doesn't have to win. 8/5 in a 20 horse field? Not for me, that's lower than Justify and Pharaoh!! 1small tri and super ticket with him on top for me
I have watched over 40 shows on the Derby and this is the best. The snap, crackle and pop and insight made a great reminder why I am playing Sierra 1-4 with 12 others in a Super. I absolutely loved the Plonk comments on why Supers are the best bang for the buck . I am totally in . Lets win some big money.
