Just imagine those cans accidentally being dented really bad, or the chips being crushed or the bag popping by accident, they couldn't sell the product could they, it would cause the companies a lot to lose.
That is in no way on the dealership. It is bad decision period. Buying a car on credit in general is a bad decision. If I can't pay cash I can't afford it.
There is an easy solution to it. Don't buy it and try to eat as "fresh" as you can or in other words try to make the dishes you eat yourself. It's not that hard and you consume less chemicals oh and its cheaper
20 some years ago when i first moved out on my own my senior year of highschool, i rented an entire 3 bedroom 2000 sq ft house with a huge unfinished basement for $400 a month. at the time i was a painter, and i made $14/hour with 1 year of painting experience. fast forward to today, and i still know a bunch of people in that same painting company, and i talk to them every once in awhile. 20+ years later, a guy with 1 year of painting experience makes about $16/hour, maybe $18/hour if they are really really efficient. and a 2 bedroom 1200 sq ft apartment with not even 1/10 the storage space as the unfinished basement costs $1400 to $1500 a month. not too long ago, you could get whole large full sized pizzas on deal days for $3. actual double cheeseburgers, not mcdoubles, we $1. full sized sausage egg mcmuffins were $1. i mean i could go on and on about how much cheaper food used to be. because if wages would have kept up with inflation, that painter with 1 year of experience would be making like $35/hour right about now. i dont understand what future generations are going to do, but im sure this isnt going to end well. at this rate, in 15 more years, 85% of the country wont even be able to afford food or a place to live. and to make matters worse, AI will be eliminating millions and millions of jobs over the upcoming years. especially in a decade or so, when they have advanced AI that has been implemented into robotics.
You should get a job, move out of your mom's basement, learn a trade, pull yourself up by your bootstraps, stop expecting the government to take care of you, etc.
@@rickee9909 great argument. i suppose i have to be a world class 5 Michelin star chef to be *allowed* to criticize this McDonalds order i just picked up.
Folks whine about "shrinkflation" but if you didn't have that you would have just regular inflation. Its all the same. One of the only brands not guilty of this is Arizona tea.
arizona most certainly has been part of inflation. nearly no place still sells cans of arizona for 99 cents. in fact most cans dont even show the 99 cent label that used to be one them anymore. where i live there is a 9/10 chance you walk into any store, and they either have cans of arizona without the 99 cent label being sold for $1.25 to $1.50, or they dont even carry the cans at all anymore, and all they have are the ones in plastic bottles, which go all the way up to $2.50 depending on the store. so sick of people parroting this nonsensical propaganda that is easily debunked by millions of people across the country who all experienced the exact same buying experience i just described when buying an arizona. and millions of them have been quite vocal about it online. literally go to any post on any social media platform circulating that garbage post of the arizona ceo from 3 and half years ago, and it will be full of people calling out the BS, describing exactly why its BS.
If this happens, I just stop buy the product. You have so many choices, so it's easy to walk away. I was buying carmel popcorn from Walmart. It was flying off the shelves. They put the price up 20%. It stayed on the shelves. It's been 6 months. The price is back. So many choices, or I'll just keep my money. Either way, I win.
The amount of things that peope buy that they don't need far surpasses the things that they do need. More businesses can be punished when they sell wants not needs. After typing that I went to the store and bought some ground beef and buns. Cost was $7 CAD. For the fries, I used Wal Mart's in an air fryer for $2 CAD. Two cams of Coke for 41 cents CAD each add tomato cheese lettuce and onions anc condiments and four people eat a combo for $13. I can cut my own potatoes, , make my own drinks and I have a vegetable gardem to make it even less. People have paid for convenience for so long they think they can't do without. I can stop buying enough to cripple the people that sell wants and make the remaining companies to fight or die.
