Does anyone watching these remember a old Dodge or Plymouth car. Painted up like one of these F-4s? I‘m going to guess about a 57 model with the tailfins. I‘m not sure what squadron it was from. I’m going to assume that the owner was a pilot. But could have been anyone from the commander on down. This was 68-70. I would sure like to know the story on it. I never got to see it up close. Only on base driving along the road. Or base ops. If anyone has a picture. I would sure like to see it again.

I fell in love with the Kappa platforms many years ago, so much so I purchased an 07 GXP w/less than 10K on the clock. I've had one failure on it (the turn signal stalk $35) which I am replacing now. GM really screwed up not letting Pontiac bring these type cars to market sooner. I got lucky by finding a retired gentleman who was needing $ for a nice fishing boat and brought it home for 12K, now has 26K on it. It has become my dream car with just 2 performance mods then handling curvy mountain roads like it's running on rails. Wife loves it almost as much as me. $ has really gone up on the turbo versions but If you are patient and willing to travel for one they can be found for a fair market price just don't buy a base model with auto transmission as that setup really isn't as much fun as a Miata. I do like Miatas, just these turbo versions are so much more fun.😀
