Sometimes, I ask myself why should I create...? The answer is always because of you!!
I really want to take some time here and really thank you for your support! I've been playing the bass guitar for the last 7 years and I wouldn't be here today without you! Please know that your contribution isn't only helping myself doing what I love, but it also gives the opportunity to other fellow bassists learning the songs they like!

Well you should look at the tab and not to what I am playing :p I am playing the same notes but in a different position on the neck because I was using a different tuning back then. Take care and listen to more Sabbath!
If you pay attention I am pushing the body of the bass guitar towards mine and the neck towards the opposite side, if you do this in a certain way you can make the note you played last a bit longer Also it makes a cool vibrato effect, because basically what you are doing, is playing with the string tension of your instrument. Try it out! Sounds amazing if you play harmonic notes too!
I have paid and joined on Patreon in order to download this tab. But clicking download just directs me to pay and join again. Same result whatever approach I try. This is frustrating. Where is the option to "sign in" as a member rather than pay again? Where can I go to download this tab? Other RU-vidrs have a site where the tabs are listed and you select, pay and download. On Patreon there is nothing like this that I can find. Please can you help me to download this great tab.
Not necessarily.. for me it was more challenging since you have to always keep the B string muted and the bends on the D string are harder to pull off, since there is a big chance to pull the string off the fretboard. In general though it shouldn't matter, just keep practicing and everything will get smooth as better! Rock on brother
great cover and tabs but a few tips: make the backing track a bit quieter so the bass can be heard a bit clearer and with the songs such as this or any other green day song and any other song that needs it use a pick but other than that great cover
@@bassfindergeneral5684 if you can achieve the same tone then its fine but it might be easier to replicate the sound with a pick and the spewed for faster songs, have a great day
I played everything in E standard to keep it simple for you to play along. Andreas usually tunes lower, I imagine since everything is played on the 6th fret, he would tune to Eb just to have that open string for most of the riffs
That is very strange, the only thing I could imagine is wrong is that you haven't tuned your bass or the intonation is very messed up, you can check the intonation with a quick tutorial video on RU-vid, its very simple to fix, you only need a tuner and a small screwdriver
This was kinda my fault (bassist here). I forgot to record a raw signal so the bass had only the driven one, making it sound much worse... If you check some of the newest covers we did it sounds killer!
Thanks homie. Learning fretless after playing Rick for 40 years. Not only did I learn The Wizard but your tone makes me feel like I'm jamming with myself and I get to play with Bill W!
Thank you so much for posting this. I couldn’t find any solid tab for years. Half of these views have to be from me, I’ve been drilling this for weeks. I feel bad for my wife, I’m sure she hates the song by now.
Thank you, although I haven't tabbed the whole song correctly.. Pentagram is one of my favorite bands and i have to redo it with a better sound as well!
This band as well with many others of that time are such great hidden gems.. I wanna cover only protometal and hard rock songs, but sadly the fanbasei isn't that much for these genres nowdays
