I recommend noting which side of the CR2032 battery you see before you remove the dead one. My battery was + side up, not down. My fob had a little arm holding the battery down, so it might only be that type that has the battery sit that way.

My key fob doesn’t even work and I changed the battery (08 VRX) - lights up and does nothing 😢

You are the only person who showed the key's inside. I was considering buying 95440G2010 which is 29 usd because my lf's key is old. I just wanted the shell to be replaced. But my key 95440C1001 which is 40usd. Now I know they are different. I can't replace my key's shell with 95440G2010. Thank you.

What bad design they should here a engineering department

I used an oversized flat head screwdriver and it was much better than using a quarter as mine was damaged. To insert the battery push it against the middle of the copper arm and it will drop in place. If you try and put it under the small plastic holders first it will keep popping back up and you may damage them. <>< <>< <>< <*((^(((><

I don't have the plastic sleeve in between batteries. Is this necessary? And could I use something else? Any ideas? Also..for 2015 volvo s60 turbo... I see equal amounts of videos stating ONLY ONE BATTERY and some stating TWO BATTERIES. Anyone else? I have 2 fobs neither had batteries when I acquired them. Both of mine have 6 buttons on front. And I can't get either to work. I ve tried 1 and 2 batteries. Facing every combination of ways. Is it the plastic thing between batteries that im missing? PLEASE HELP! Thank you for this video and for any further help.
