That Sounds Great. I'll keep that in mind. I have 2 Hybrids that are 5 foot & 1 Marshal Arts 4 foot whip. I love that color. That's my favorite color green. How long does it take to get one ??? Question : I'm new at Cracking but am getting pretty good but what do you think is the best length for just practice & target fun. Thanks Subscribed & Liked :)
I'm a new whip cracker and what fun. I'm getting pretty good but some of this stuff you all do is going to take a while. Great Video. Thanks Subscribed & Liked :)
@@jjhallswhips4411 THanks much! This is quite a learning curve to figure out, but worth it. If I use this 650 cordless paracord, should I use a thicker piece for the core in your opinion?
I´ll never get over the art you do with all that nano- & microparacord, astonishing! Still loving it, not trying to change that! Keep up the good work. Take care.
Dude it's been a minute. Glad you're back. And thank you again for the tutorial on how to finish a knot the correct way with no burn marks of melted paracord. Oh and how did you make that talon? It is wicked looking.
@@jjhallswhips4411 That would be an awesome tutorial. And I totally get the part about your real job. I'm a machine operator and I wish whip making paid the bills.
You might like to see this vid about whip crack from SmarterEveryDay. How does a whip break the sound barrier? ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-AnaASTBn_K4.html Regards, Jas. VK4FJGS
I see everybody doing that cattleman's crack and it sounds like the crack is coming from the whip hitting the ground. If that's the case that's not a true whip crack. I don't even want to learn that shitty fake crack
Hey man I'm having issues with The Paracord Store.. I ordered paracord from them and it came in the wrong color I've been trying to get a hold of them nobody's returned emails or phone calls can anybody help me out.
Even if I do exactly the same steps, my heel- or transitionknots just won´t look like yours :'D -jealous af- Outstanding work, as we´re used to see it from JJ Hall's Whips. Beatiful work! Thanks again for sharing man!! Take care, keep it up and spread some love.
Since you mentioned it I’ll do a video on it coming up soon James. it’s a cool process and I think everyone would enjoy to see how I create one of those whips! Thank you for your comment
It's just so nice you´re finally doing a tutorial. And even with that micro paracord involved. Can´t wait to see that finished whip. Huge thanks for sharing. Take care.
@@jjhallswhips4411 I've got a few hours into building the same one and am confused about dropping strands while plaiting. Tried dropping one but then am not seeing how the pattern resumes as before. Is the point of dropping the strings to facilitate the taper, and it it necessary to do in your opinion? Thanks
@@BAsed_AFro you have to drop strands as needed because the diameter of the whip gets smaller and smaller as you go. So you can do a double drop if your in a 12 plait which is 6 strands on each side, under 3 over 3, when the strands start to clump up or wrinkle up is a good time to drop. Next is a 10 plait 5 strands on each side. Under 3 over 2
Yes that is the most popular song Jim! I chose 2 songs from All the world is a Stage a live album my dad really liked. It’s one I loved growing up as a Kid.
You might not see this but do you recommend starting with a shorter or longer whip? I currently only have an 8 foot long leather whip, should I learn with that or get a smaller one?
I had a bowl whip when I was a kid I remember pulling back on a hundred miles an hour and going forward as fast as I could to get it to crack.... It worked for a short period of time until I cracked myself in the back of the shoulder with it. Broke the skin and taught me a lesson lol
